Summoning
- This card can also be Fusion Summoned with "Fusion Gate", "Flash Fusion", "Fusion Substitute", "Performapal Trump Witch", "Dragon's Mirror", "Odd-Eyes Fusion", "Performapal Splashmammoth", "Miracle Synchro Fusion", "Astrograph Sorcerer", and "Chronograph Sorcerer".
- The easiest way to Summon this card is using either "Astrograph Sorcerer" or "Chronograph Sorcerer" in tandem with "Black Fang Magician", "White Wing Magician", "Iris Magician" and "Violet Poison Magician".
- In a mid or late game, "Dragon's Mirror" or "Miracle Synchro Fusion" can be used to Fusion Summon this card, by banishing from the Graveyard Dragon-Type monsters that were sent to the Graveyard over the course of the Duel.
- The effect of "Zaborg the Mega Monarch" can be used to send this card's Fusion Materials to the Graveyard.
- "Predaplant Chimera Rafflesia" can be sent to the Graveyard along with the Fusion Materials in order to add "Miracle Synchro Fusion" to the hand.
- The effect of "Odd-Eyes Fusion" can be used to accumulate the necessary Fusion Materials from your Extra Deck in preparation for using either one of these cards. Simply Fusion Summoning "Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon" can give yourself up to 3 of the 4 required Fusion Materials at once if "Vortex Dragon" is Summoned using only non-Fusion Monsters as Material. Moreover, if "Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" or "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" is used as the Pendulum Monster Material for "Vortex Dragon", it can serve as either the Xyz Monster or Pendulum Monster for the Fusion Summon of this card.
- The effect of "Zaborg the Mega Monarch" can be used to send this card's Fusion Materials to the Graveyard.
- The combined effects of "Supreme King Gate Zero" and "Supreme King Gate Infinity" twice each can be used to Special Summon this card's Fusion Materials.
- After destroying itself in order to Special Summon a Fusion or Synchro monster, "Supreme King Gate Zero" can be placed on the Pendulum Zone, allowing it to search "Polymerization" or a "Fusion" Spell Card.
Countering (As Monster Card)
- The Summoning conditions of monsters such as "Lava Golem" or "Kaijus" can easily remove this card from the field, as can Spell Cards "The Monarchs Stormforth", "Destruction Swordsman Fusion", and "Super Polymerization" (OCG and Traditional Format only), while also preventing its last effect from activating since it will not have been destroyed.
- The effects of "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" and "Hyper Hammerhead" can return this card to the Extra Deck.
- "Number S39: Utopia the Lightning" and "Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon" can both easily defeat this monster in battle, and either prevent its effect that would place it in the Pendulum Zone from activating ("Utopia the Lightning") or negate its activation ("Crystal Wing").
- Similarly, "Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman" will prevent either of this monster's effects from activating.
- "Skill Drain" and/or "Dimensional Barrier" will leave this card vulnerable to any form of monster removal, not simply cards that do not target nor destroy, such as "Raigeki" and "Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer".
- "Dimensional Barrier" can also prevent this card's Fusion Summon.
- Effects that neither target nor destroy such as "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", "Kozmojo", "Orea, the Sylvan High Arbiter", and "True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher" can be effective against this card.
- "Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon" provides a line of defense against this card, preventing all of its controller's cards from being destroyed by this card's first effect.
- Unlike "Starlight Road" due to this card's immunity to destruction, "The Huge Revolution is Over" can be very effective against this monster. Not only will it negate its effect that would destroy all opposing cards, it will also effectively get rid of by banishing it.
- "Nine Pillars of Yang Zing" can also be effective.
Countering (As Pendulum Spell)
- This card can be easily disposed with "Mystical Space Typhoon".
