Follow this card's effect up with either "Lightning Vortex", if you used the second effect, or "Giant Trunade", if you used his first effect. After doing so your opponent's field should be cleared for a direct attack with this card.

This card's effect cannot be used with one "Genesoid" as Tribute, since it is treated as 2 Tributes, not 2 monsters. As for "Caller", its effect will be Chain Link 2 and this card's effect will be Chain Link 1, so it is not useful either.
