- This card can be searched by "Dark Sage", "Ancient Gear Drill", "Alchemic Magician", "Angmarl the Fiendish Monarch", "Left Arm Offering", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", "Hidden Armory", "Power Tool Dragon", "Vylon Cube", "Vylon Delta", "Vylon Sigma" and "Fairy Tail - Rella".
- Gyroid combined with "The Dark Door" and "Ring of Magnetism"/"Raregold Armor" creates a decent lockdown.
- Equip this card to Amazoness Swords Woman, preferably in combination with "Mist Body" or "Heart of Clear Water".
- Equip this card to Goblin King while there are one or more Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field excluding that Goblin King and your opponent will be unable to declare an attack unless they destroy "Ring of Magnetism".
- You can Equip Marshmallon with "Ring of Magnetism" so your opponent will only be able to attack Marshmallon, and since it cannot be destroyed by battle you will be safe from your opponent's attacks. It's better to use "Ring of Magnetism" in your deck instead of "Marshmallon Glasses" because "Marshmallon Glasses" can only help you if Marshmallon is on your side of the field, and "Ring of Magnetism" is effective in more situations.
- "Raregold Armor" outclasses "Ring of Magnetism" except in a scenario where decreased ATK would useful, as with "Heart of Clear Water", which requires that the equipped monster have less than 1300 ATK.
- Equip this to a Dragon type monster when Lady of D. is on the field and your opponent will be unable to attack.
- Attach this card to Maha Vailo when it already has a decent amount of cards equipped to it. Because of its own effect, the cost of 500 ATK will be neutralized and your opponent will have to attack it.
- Armed Protector Dragon is a good choice, as its effect not only neutralizes the ATK decrease, but will also keep Ring of Magnetism from being destroyed by card effects.
- One advantage to using this card over the aforementioned Raregold Armor is to equip this card to “Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir”, lower ATK means the opponent would take more damage if she’s attacked because of her effect while at the same time, being forced to only attack her.
