A target with spell counters for Reflection of Endymion to return to the hand when she is special summoned can be guaranteed with the following methods:
- Her own pendulum effect, provided you have a card that can hold spell counters in your hand
- The pendulum effect of Servant of Endymion, provided copies of Reflection of Endymion are in the Deck
- The pendulum effect of Magister of Endymion, provided copies of Reflection of Endymion are face up in the Extra Deck.
The latter two are particularly useful as it allows Servant or Magister to be returned to the scales where they are more useful.
In addition, special summoning her on the opponents turn can be useful to disrupt your opponent's combo plays. This can be done with the monster effect of Magister of Endymion, or with the effect of Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians, provided one can place Reflection in the graveyard. Magicians' Souls can be helpful in setting Reflection up for the latter.
