- This card can be searched by "Resonator Engine", "Summoner Monk", "Vampire Dragon", "Shining Angel", "Nova Summoner", "Soul Rope" and another "Ra's Disciple".
- As its name implies, this card is very useful for Tribute Summoning any Egyptian God, such as its namesake, "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
- Activate "Double Summon", then Normal Summon this card and use its effect to Special Summon two others. Then use your second Normal Summon to Tribute all three for one of the Egyptian Gods.
- Since this card's effect activates regardless of how it was Summoned, you can use cards like "Photon Lead", "Tinplate Goldfish" and "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" to Special Summon it, avoiding having to use "Double Summon". However, note that its effect can miss the timing, so do not use cards like "Goblindbergh".
