- This card works well in a deck that relies on Synchro, Fusion or Ritual Monsters with a few Xyz Monsters added to the Extra Deck. It also works well in Decks that utilize different monster Types, such as "Wind-Ups", "Lightsworns", "Naturia" "Mermail" and WATER Decks.
- This card works well in Decks that use 2-3 copies of "Maxx "C"" and "Effect Veiler", along with a different monster Type.
- This card can be used to gain hand advantage with the help of "Rescue Rabbit".
- For instance, an "Evilswarm" deck can do this after using "Rescue Rabbit" to make "Evilswarm Bahamut", using the effect of "Evilswarm Bahamut" to discard an "Lswarm" Effect Monster and then "Tributing" "Evilswarm Bahamut" for a previously set "Deck Devastation Virus" beforehand.
- Note that the clause "At the start of your Main Phase 1" prevents you from activating more than one copy of this card per turn, as resolving one copy means it is no longer the start of your Main Phase 1.
- This card works well in decks that do not need to attack, such as "Chain Burn" Decks, where the objective is to reduce Life Points to 0 by card effects.
- After using this card's effect Summon "Number C39: Utopia Ray V" or "Number 61: Volcasaurus" and use their effects to destroy opposing monsters and inflict damage without having to attack.
- Use with "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude" to bypass the cost of targeting 3 monsters, and draw 2 cards, however you will still miss your Battle Phase.
