  • If you have one copy of this card in your graveyard and one on the field, you can constantly summon one of them by using this cards effect on the other one.
  • Tribute this card for the cost of "Mind Over Matter", effectively negating a card and activating "Overmind Archfiend's" effect.
    • You can use this strategy in response to cards like "Dimensional Prison" that would remove Mental Over Archfiend instead of sending it to the graveyard.
  • Use "Telekinetic Power Well" to special summon "Mind Master" and 2 others level 2 or less Psychic monsters from your graveyard, then you can tribute them for Mind Master's effect to special summon 2 lv 4 Psychic monsters. Tune them with Mind Master to summon this card.
  • Tribute summon "Overdrive Teleporter" and use its effect to special summon at least 1 level 3 tuner. Tune "Teleporter" and the tuner for "Hyper Psychic Blaster". Since you paid the full 2000, your life points will most likely be lower than the opponent's so use "Psychic Trigger", removing from play "Teleporter" and the tuner that you used, and then drawing 2 cards. Activate "Psychic Feel Zone", sending "Teleporter" and the tuner to the graveyard to summon this card.
  • You can summon this card in 1 turn, all you need is "One for One" or "Emergency Teleport" to special summon "Mind Master", then normal summon another Psychic Monster. Use Mind Master effect to special summon "Hushed Psychic Cleric", use Cleric effect and remove 1 lv 4 Psychic in your graveyard (if not present, special summon it with "Mind Master" and then tribute it for Cleric). Tribute Cleric with "Mind Master's" effect for a lv 4 Psychic from your deck, then Cleric's effect will summon the previously removed lv 4. Synchro them for "Overmind Archfiend".
  • A good combo for this card is to summon it, protect it long enough to remove from play the cards used to summon it, when it's destroyed summon them all back, then use them to summon another of this card, then use it's effect to remove from play the other one, and repeat. This is an effective way to keep "Mental Over Archfiend" alive and swarm the field with synchros, like "Hyper Psychic Blaster".
