- In addition to the above combo: have 3 "Wind-Up Shark"'s by either using "Salvage" or other means at getting them. Normal Summon one and Special Summon the other 2 from your hand.
- You could inflict even more damage to your opponent with "Armory Arm" equipped to this card.
- This card combos well with cards like Robbin' Goblin or Robbin' Zombie, whose effects activates each time you inflict battle damage. Since this monster is able to inflict battle damage twice a turn, you can activate such a card's effect even more all turns.
- You can use "Umiiruka" to bring this card's ATK to 3300 to do more damage.
- Or, have Blustering Winds or Aqua Jet to increase its ATK(/DEF) by 1000.
- This card can be easily be summoned with a WATER deck by using Water Hazard to special summon a level 4 WATER monster with 1500 or less ATK, then activate Inferno Reckless Summon to summon two more copies of it.
- You can give away one of your searchers and destroy it by battle with this card. Use your searcher's effect to Special Summon a monster from your Deck since it activates in your Graveyard, and use Shark Drake's effect to bring your searcher to your opponent's field and battle it again. Again, use your searcher's effect. Then, attack your opponent with your 2 new monsters.
