This card can be easily Summoned by Normal Summoning "Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki" and using its effect to Special Summon "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai".
- You can Special Summon "Elder of the Six Samurai", then activate "Asceticism of the Six Samurai" to Special Summon "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai", then Synchro Summon this card.
- You can also use "Double-Edged Sword Technique" to Special Summon "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai" and any 3 star "Six Samurai" monster to Synchro Summon this card and you won't take any damage from "Double-Edged Sword Technique".
  - Alternatively, use "Double-Edged Sword Technique" to bring a Level 3 "Six Samurai" and a "Kagemusha of the Six Samurai", then Special Summon "Great Shogun Shien", and Synchro Summon this monster after "Shogun" is Summoned.

Resurrect this monster via "Return of the Six Samurai", then use this monster's second effect to trade another "Six Samurai" at the end of the turn.

This card, "Great Shogun Shien", "Hand of the Six Samurai", and any other "Six Samurai" monsters ALMOST make a lockdown. The reason is "Great Shogun Shien" only allows one SUCCESSFUL activation of a Spell or Trap. Other than that, "Hand of the Six Samurai" tributes one "Six Samurai" monster to destroy a monster on the field.

"Forbidden Lance" can protect this card well enough, because despite his ATK being lowered, you can always choose to destroy a different "Six Samurai".

This card cannot negate the activation of "Super Polymerization", so be careful when facing an opponent using "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste", "Elemental HERO Escuridao" and/or "Elemental HERO Neos Knight".
