You can also Xyz Summon this card by using "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" on "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum".

This card's effect destroys cards only at its resolution, so cards like "Stardust Dragon", "The Huge Revolution is Over" etc cannot stop it.
- Also, its effect does not target, so cards like "Number 74: Master of Blades", "Obelisk The Tormentor" or a "Noble Knight" equipped with "Noble Arms - Excaliburn" will not be immune to it.

Using "Hieratic Dragon of Eset" with one of the other monsters in the "Hieratic" archetype makes the Xyz Summoning of this (along with many other Xyz monsters, such as "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum") far easier. With "Eset" on the field, all you need to do is activate the effect of a "Hieratic" which brings out a Dragon-Type Normal Monster then use the effect of "Eset", which changes the Level of all "Hieratics" on the field to equal your Dragon-Type Normal Monster.

As well as its own archetype, this card can be supported by "Blue-Eyes" cards.
- Similar to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", you can use "Polymerization" on 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragons", then use "De-Fusion" to Xyz Summon this card.

Special Summon this monster using "Lightpulsar Dragon" and "Dragard". Then Special Summon "Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord" from the Graveyard, and use the last effect of "Dragorado" to tribute itself, and target "Lightpulsar Dragon".

Use this card with "Xyz Burst" so that you don't need as many Tributes to clear the field.

This card could also work nicely in a "Galaxy" Deck.

Use this card effect to clear the opponent field by Tributing Dragons. Then if you have 5 Dragons in your Graveyard, use "Dragon's Mirror" to Summon "Five Headed Dragon" to OTK your opponent.

The "Gagaga duo" can Summon this card easily if both are on the field.

Another way to Summon this monster is to use two Level 8 Synchro Monsters via two "Eccentric Boys" and two Level 5 monsters in your hand.

This dragon can be easily Summoned in a "Dark World" Deck by simply using 2 "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World" as "Grapha" can revive itself easily from the Graveyard.

Use this card's effect to tribute all of your "Hieratic" monsters, preferably the ones in your hand. Then you can swarm the field with Dragons Summoned by their effects while clearing your opponent's field. If you chose to Summon Dragons of equal Levels, you can perform more Xyz Summons for a possible OTK.
- "Star Light, Star Bright" or "Galaxy Queen's Light" can make Xyz Summoning much easier.

You can use "Tannhauser Gate" in order to quickly Xyz Summon this monster. A good monster to use for this is "Batteryman AAA", as it can Summon an additional copy of itself from the Graveyard and it has 0 ATK, making it perfect for "Tannhauser Gate".

You can easily Summon this card in any Deck that runs "Tragoedia" and multiple Level 8 monsters by pitching the Level 8 monster with the effect of "Tragoedia" to take control of a Level 8 monster your opponent controls, then changing the Level of "Tragoedia" to 8. This works especially well in an "Agent" Deck that runs "Master Hyperion", "Archlord Kristya" and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning".

Traditional Format

Use this card's effect to tribute as many Dragons as you can, then play "Super Rejuvenation".
- To get the maximum draw power from this card in a "Hieratic" Deck, use the normal Dragons Summoned by Tributed "Hieratic" monsters for cards like "White Elephant's Gift" and "Advance Draw", the former of which would also accumulate further to the effect of "Super Rejuvenation".
