− | * If you use this in a [[Dragunity]] deck, you can perform an [[FTK]] with this card if you open with [[Dragon Ravine]] and [[Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite]] in your hand. First, activate the Ravine and discard Zephyros to add [[Dragunity Phalanx]] to your hand. Then bounce the Ravine to revive Zephros and activate it again, discarding Phalanx to search [[Dragunity Dux]]. Then summon Dux, and equip and summon Phalanx and use the two to synchro into [[Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana]]. Use its effect to equip and summon Phalanx, and tune him with Zephyros for another Vajryana, then equip and summon Phalanx again. Overlay the two to summon this card. Then use its effect to summon [[Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon]], and use his effect to revive Vajryana. |

- Use this card's effect to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and use its effect to banish it and an opponent's monster. When it returns to the field its ATK and DEF will return to normal.
- Summon this card then detach 1 unit to Special Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" from the Deck, then Xyz Summon Thunderclap Knight - Gaia Dragoon, use Oni-Gami Combo to detach it's units then revive Hieratic Dragon King of Atum using Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's Effect. Xyz Thunderclap Knight - Gaia Dragoon again to have a total 3 Piercing atks of 2600.
- by putting Xyz Territory on the Field you can get OTK.
- Use three or more Continuous Spell Card that allows you to draw/search cards (like "Card Trader") until you get two "Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings"; Special Summon both and Xyz Summon this card (you can use this strategy in a Crystal Beast Deck).
- Chain "Inferno Reckless Summon" when the Dragon is successfully Special Summoned from the Deck; the ATK and DEF of the other 2 Dragons won't become 0.
- Use this card to search "Clear Vice Dragon". It it's attack points are not an issue because of its effect, so it can attack in place of this card. Using the above strategy to get 3 CVDs out would allow you to quickly eliminate 3 opposing monsters and score a potentially high hit on your opponent's life points.
- Some other good effect monsters that this card summon are "Hardened Armed Dragon", "Armed Dragon LV5", "Prime Material Dragon", "Golem Dragon", "Darkflare Dragon", and "Darkstorm Dragon".
- As for having to bounce back a Red-Eyes, you can summon it next turn by reviving a Dragon with your Red-Eyes on the field, or by searching a Phalanx or an Aklys with Dragon Ravine, and then Banishing that Dragon for that Red-Eyes, if you want.
- List of Dragon-Type monsters that are Level 6.
