- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Vampire Dragon", "Divine Wind of Mist Valley", "Magician's Circle", "Flying Kamakiri #1", and "Apprentice Magician".
- Use "Marauding Captain" to get both monsters out in one turn "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" out in 1 turn. Tokens can be used as well.
- Use monsters that can Special Summon themselves through their own effect like "Cyber Dragon", "The Tricky", and "Level Warrior" so that you can still Normal Summon this monster. Then Special Summon "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" afterward.
- Use Trap Cards like "Metal Reflect Slime" or "Zoma the Spirit" by activating before your opponent turn ends and then Normal Summon this monster, tribute it and this card to Special Summon "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" easily.
- Use "Saambell the Summoner" to Special Summon this card then Tribute this card with "Saambell" to Special Summon "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" from your hand or Deck.
