- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "The Trojan Horse", or Special Summoned by using "Tribute Doll".
- This card combos nicely with "Card of Safe Return".
- "Foolish Burial" works well with this card. You can send it straight from your Deck to the Graveyard to be able to use its effect faster.
- This card can be brought out easier by switching a Berserk Gorilla into Defense Position.
- This card works well in a Crystal Beast Deck, because some of the Crystal Beast are Beast Type, he fits well especially if you use Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder and/or Rainbow Dragon.
- Much of this card's usefulness came from the fact that it could be Special Summoned during the Damage Step, which was prohibited by a newly-added Ruling. While this greatly compromised the card, it still has some use in that it can be the perfect response to any mass-destruction card effect, such as Lightning Vortex, Torrential Tribute, Mirror Force, and pretty much any other Magic, Trap, or Effect Monster that activates outside the Damage Step.
