- Suicide a "Giant Germ" and summon two more by it's effect. At your main phase 2, sacrifice them to summon a high level monster.
- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Mystic Tomato".
- "Giant Germ" is useful for providing monsters to Special Summon "Dark Necrofear", the "Sky Scourges", "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", and "Destiny Hero - Plasma".
- This card works well when used with "Creature Swap".
- Suicide 3 "Giant Germ"s to quickly meet the summoning requirements for "Dark Armed Dragon" while doing 1500 points of damage to your opponent. Note that this will cost you Life Points (unless you have "Spirit Barrier") and you will be unable to attack with DAD until your next turn.
- This can be a very quick Deck Thinner.
