  • You can use "Ceasefire" or "Book of Taiyou" to get this card on the field without literally Summoning it, thus it will not be Destroyed (or actually "Sent to the Graveyard" ala Majestic Mech - Ohka) by its own effect. Through this, Gandora will not only stay on field, but will keep the ATK points it gains from using its effect (vs losing them via the reset from face-down or RFG tactics). This will be a cumulative gain, especially since Gandora is not restricted to once per turn.
  • Gandora is a great fodder for Reversal Quiz OTK combos, due to being able to use his effect multiple times in a turn with minimal restriction.
  • Using a DNA Surgery combo in conjunction with Telekinetic Charging Cell, the cost for Gandora's effect can be nullified, thus reduced to zero, albeit for only one turn due to the nature of his effect.
  • This card can be used with "Crush Card Virus" to great effect.
    • "Deck Devastation Virus" and "Eradicator Epidemic Virus" could also potentially use this card, depending on the number of cards destroyed and removed from play for its effect; however, since this card eliminates all other cards on the field prior to gaining attack, these traps would need to be set afterwards, and since this card is destroyed at the end of the turn, these traps would become useless.
  • "Mausoleum of the Emperor" is great with this card as it allows you to keep monsters you have as food for this beastly card.
  • This card works fairly well with a Deck based on removing things from play, also know as a Macro Deck. This is because you can use Macro's "D.D. Survivor" and "D.D. Scout Plane" as Tribute fodder, and because this card's field nuke attack removes cards from play when it destroys them.
  • You can use Dimensionhole to keep this card on the field since it will remove it from play on the turn he was summoned, meaning after that after that turn he will be able to stay as long as you want.
  • Use Sangan to add this card to your hand.
  • Use Double Coston to summon this card with only one monster since Gandora itself is a DARK monster.
