- This card can be searched by "A Cat of Ill Omen" and "Guiding Ariadne".
- This card is a very powerful Counter Trap that has no drawback but it depends on having Avian on the field. Using cards that prevent your opponent from attacking "Elemental HERO Avian", (like "Wall of Revealing Light", or keep it from being destroyed by battle ("Waboku" or "Mist Body"), is highly recommended if you plan on relying on this card.
- "Elemental HERO Prisma" works great with this card. (Provided that you have a Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental HERO Avian" as a fusion material monster.) Activate the effect of "Elemental HERO Prisma" to send "Elemental HERO Avian" to the graveyard. This allows the name of "Elemental HERO Prisma" to become "Elemental HERO Avian". You can now use "Feather Wind" if your opponent tries to activate a Spell or Trap card. Be wary however that Prisma's name change effect lasts only 1 turn.
