• Being a Level 8 monster that can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard, this card can be used well with "Trade-In". It can also be used to discard Level 8 Dragons to equip to "Leyvaten" instead.
  • "Cyberdark Cannon" and "Cyberdark Claw" can send Dragon-type monsters to the Graveyard to be equipped to "Dragunity Arma Leyvaten", and they can be equipped to "Leyvaten" as well.
  • Remember that "Dragunity Arma Leyvaten" is not limited to equipping itself with "Dragunity" Dragons. This card can pick any Dragon monster to equip to itself, such as "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", and would Special Summon it if disposed of by an opposing card effect.
  • Note that, while this card can Special Summon itself at the cost of banishing a monster you control that is currently equipped with a "Dragunity" card, the monster you banish does not need to be a "Dragunity" monster. Any monster equipped with a "Dragunity" card is applicable, such as a "Cyberdark" monster, and it can be equipped with "Dragunity Divine Lance" instead of a "Dragunity" monster.
  • You can make a small loop with this card and "Light and Darkness Dragon". When you summon this card, equip "Light and Darkness Dragon" to it. Whenever it is destroyed, your field will be cleared by the effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon" and it will Special Summon "Leyvaten" from your Graveyard. Then, you can equip "Light and Darkness Dragon" to it again.
    • If "Light and Darkness Dragon" is destroyed while equipped to this card but "Leyvaten" itself is not destroyed as well, you can have it Special Summon a different copy of "Leyvaten" from your Graveyard to continue the loop.
    • Another version of this combo can be performed using "Arkbrave Dragon" instead of "Light and Darkness Dragon". It is slower, but it does not destroy your cards, so you can use "Leyvaten" as material for a summon or as any card's activation cost and it will Special Summon itself back during the next turn's Standby Phase.
