- An easy way to Special Summon this card is by adding Fiend-Type monsters to the Graveyard by also Special Summoning "Darkness Neosphere". All you now need is 1 more Fiend-Type monster in your Graveyard to Summon this card.
- Use "Armageddon Knight" or "Foolish Burial" to send fiend type monsters to the graveyard.
- Use "Soul Drain", "Debunk" or "Abyss Dweller" to negate this card's effect.
- Use "Dark Necrofear" in conjunction with "Dimension Fusion" or with "Return from the Different Dimension" to get the monsters you banished back onto the Field, and then Tribute them for card effects or monsters like "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" or "Destiny HERO - Plasma".
- Use "Dark Necrofear" in conjunction with "Skill Drain" and graveyard effect fiends like "Dark Mimic LV3" and "Newdoria" to negate your opponent's effects, while retaining all of yours.
- This card works well with "Doom Shaman" if you Special Summon it properly first, and as long as "Doom Shaman" is on the field, you can recycle "Dark Necrofear".
