- Once this card is out, "Sage's Stone" can be used to Special Summon "Dark Magician" and/or Tribute her to activate "Deck Devastation Virus". Using the former strategy, both can even be Tributed to Special Summon "Sorcerer of Dark Magic".
- By choosing "Dark Paladin" or "Dark Flare Knight" from your Extra Deck with its effect, "Elemental HERO Prisma" can send copies of "Dark Magician" from your Deck to your Graveyard in order to raise her ATK.
- "Foolish Burial" and the effect of "Armageddon Knight" can be used for this card´s effect.
- "Cost Down" can be played to discard a "Dark Magician" and Normal Summon this card.
- With the effect of "Elemental HERO Prisma", reveal "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight" in your Extra Deck to send a "Dark Magician Girl" from the Deck to the Graveyard. "Prisma" is now treated as "Dark Magician Girl". "The Eye of Timaeus" can now be used to Fusion Summon "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight".
- With the above combo, "Sage's Stone" can also be used to Special Summon a "Dark Magician" from your hand or Deck.
- For Summoning "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight", "Curse of Dragonfire" can be used as it can use its effect to perform the Fusion Summon as well as qualify for Fusion Material.
- First, use "Illusion Magic" to Tribute 1 "Spellcaster" to add 2 Dark Magicians from your deck to your hand. Then, use "Hand Destruction" to discard the 2 Dark Magicians and increase her ATK to at least 2600.
