This card can be searched by "Dark Renewal", "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Chaos Zone", "Dragodeus, the Empowered Warrior", "Magician's Circle", "Spellbook Star Hall", 'The Grand Spellbook Tower", "Fool of Prophecy", "Reaper of Prophecy", "Justice of Prophecy", "Temperance of Prophecy", "Lemon Magician Girl", "Ebon Void Magician", "Magician's Navigate", "Berry Magician Girl", "Fusion Conscription" and "Fusion Reserve".

Once this card is out, you can use "Sage's Stone" to Special Summon "Dark Magician" and/or Tribute her to activate "Deck Devastation Virus". Using the former strategy, you can even Tribute both to Special Summon "Sorcerer of Dark Magic".

By choosing "Dark Paladin" or "Dark Flare Knight" from your Extra Deck with its effect, "Elemental HERO Prisma" can send copies of "Dark Magician" from your Deck to your Graveyard in order to raise her ATK.

"Foolish Burial" and the effect of "Armageddon Knight" can be used for this card´s effect.

You can play "Cost Down" to discard a "Dark Magician" and Normal Summon this card.

With the effect of "Elemental HERO Prisma", reveal "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight" in your Extra Deck to send a "Dark Magician Girl" from the Deck to the Graveyard. "Elemental HERO Prisma" is now treated as "Dark Magician Girl". You can now use "The Eye of Timaeus" to Fusion Summon "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight".

With the above combo, you can also use "Sage's Stone" to Special Summon a "Dark Magician" from your Hand or Deck. You could also use "The Eye of Timaeus" on your "Dark Magician" to Fusion Summon "Dark Paladin", or use a "Dark Magic Attack"/"Thousand Knives" to destroy your opponent's cards.

For summoning "Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight", you can use "Infernal Curse of Dragon" as it can use its effect to perform the Fusion Summon as well as qualify for Fusion Material.

You can Ritual Summon "Magician of Black Chaos" by using "Dark Magician" and another monster from your hand, then Tribute "Magician of Black Chaos" to summon this card with 2600 ATK. While weaker than "Magician of Black Chaos" initially, this can be a setup for powering her up more with cards like "Magic Formula".

Use "Painful Choice" and select copies of "Dark Magician" and "Magician of Black Chaos" to raise her ATK by 1200.
