- This card can be special summoned via "Magician's Circle".
- Once this card is out, you can use "Sage's Stone" to Special Summon "Dark Magician" or tribute her to activate "Deck Devastation Virus" or even tributing both to special summon "Sorcerer of Dark Magic".
- Use "Painful Choice" and select copies of "Dark Magician" and "Magician of Black Chaos" to raise her ATK points by 1200.
- By choosing "Dark Paladin" or "Dark Flare Knight" from your Extra Deck with its effect, "Elemental HERO Prisma" can send copies of "Dark Magician" from your Deck to your Graveyard in order to raise her ATK points.
- "Foolish Burial" and the effect of "Armageddon Knight" can be used for this card´s effect.
- For a Synchro Summon or "Black Rose Dragon", you can use her along with "Sunny Pixie" as Synchro Material Monsters.
- You can play "Cost Down" to discard a "Dark Magician" and Normal Summon this card.
