- Combine this card with "Battle Mania" or "Staunch Defender" to create a two card OTK, and just to make sure the monsters attacking you will be weaker just use "Burden of the Mighty".
- After summoning a "Needle Token" to your opponent's side of the field with this card, you can destroy that token with "Fragrance Storm" to draw a free card (or two if the first card drawn is a Plant-Type monster).
- Make sure to summon this beforehand, but you can then combo "Black Garden" to summon a "Rose Token" with every monster this card battles and destroys.
- This card can be used in an OTK with "All-Out Attacks" to keep forcing the "Needle Token" into attacking "Cactus Fighter" every time one is Summoned. If you only control this face-up monster, that will keep happening until your opponent runs out of Life Points (provided that "Cactus Fighter" destroys one of your opponent's monsters during your opponent's turn).
