This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Transmodify", "Painful Escape", "Ties of the Brethren", "Soul Rope", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Summoner Monk", "Rescue Ferret", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Naturia Sacred Tree", "Super Solar Nutrient", "Lonefire Blossom", "Botanical Girl", "Violet Witch", "Rose Paladin" and "Chirubimé, Princess of Autumn Leaves".

Equipping "Big Bang Shot" will increase this monster's ATK by 400 and allows it to inflict piercing damage. Now you can keep destroying any Needle Token that is created by the effect of "Cactus Fighter" and deal direct damage to your opponent's life points.

Combine this card with "All-Out Attacks" or "Staunch Defender" to create a two card OTK, and just to make sure the monsters attacking you will be weaker just use "Burden of the Mighty".

After summoning a Needle Token to your opponent's side of the field with this card, you can destroy that token with "Fragrance Storm" to draw a free card (or two if the first card drawn is a Plant-Type monster).

Make sure to summon this beforehand, but you can then combo "Black Garden" to summon a Rose Token with every monster this card battles and destroys.

Using "Shrink" will reduce your opponent's ATK making this effect more reliable.

This card can be used in an OTK with "All-Out Attacks" to keep forcing the Needle Token into attacking "Cactus Fighter" every time one is Summoned. If you only control this face-up monster, that will keep happening until your opponent runs out of Life Points (provided that "Cactus Fighter" destroys one of your opponent's monsters during your opponent's turn).

Use this card as the first strike against your opponent's monsters so "Victory Viper XX03", "Falchionβ" etc. can use their effects more easily by destroying the "Needle Token" instead.

Combine this card with "Kaiser Colosseum" and "Ojama Trio" for a lock.

A small combo that can be used is with "Timeater" to have a "Needle Token" to destroy safely for it, if in fear of a card like "Sakuretsu Armor" or "Yomi Ship" may be used to protect or counter the attack.

Consider using this card with "Black Garden".
