- This card can supplement "Effect Veiler" and "Fiendish Chain" as a means of negating the effects of an opposing monster on the field. The main differences are as follows:
- Unlike "Effect Veiler", this card can also activate during the Battle Phase
- Unlike "Fiendish Chain", this card's effect cannot be responded to with Spell Speed 2 backrow removal. Also, this card can be used to negate an opposing monster's effects when it attacks, without stopping the attack, allowing for a potential matchup-reversal if the negated monster's ATK was determined by its effect.
- This card's additional Graveyard effect allows it to disregard "Royal Decree" and "Trap Stun".
