- Synchro Summon this card using "White Rose Dragon" and "Red Rose Dragon". This is made very easy by White Rose Dragon's Summoning effects, and will allow you to trigger all their secondary effects: (RRD) Special Summon 1 "Rose Dragon" monster from your hand/Deck AND add "Frozen Rose" or "Blooming of the Darkest Rose" / (WRD) Send 1 Level 4 or higher Plant monster from your Deck to the GY.
- If you Special Summon "Blue Rose Dragon" with "Red Rose Dragon", you can destroy all the cards on the field with "Black Rose Dragon", then trigger "Blue Rose Dragon" to Special Summon back your "Black Rose Dragon" OR any Level 4+ Plant that you sent from your Deck to GY with "White Rose Dragon".
- If you activate Red Rose Dragon's effect first and chain it with Black Rose Dragon, you can destroy all cards on the field when Black Rose Dragon's effect resolves and special summon Roxrose Dragon when Red Rose Dragon's effect resolves (with a Frozen Rose or Blooming of the Darkest Rose as a bonus). Roxrose Dragon's summon will let you add Basal Rose Shoot to your hand (if you haven't used Roxrose Dragon's effect prior this turn). Finally, you can use Basal Rose Shoot to special summon Black Rose Dragon from the graveyard and then synchro summon Ruddy Rose Dragon using Black Rose and Roxrose Dragon. Ruddy Rose Dragon will banish the cards that Black Rose Dragon just destroyed and destroy any cards the opponent might have put on the field after Black Rose Dragon's effect. If the opponent tries to target and negate Ruddy Rose Dragon with an effect, you can use the Frozen Rose (previously added by Red Rose Dragon) to remove it so the effect has no target and Ruddy Rose's effect still resolves. If other cases Ruddy Rose Dragon might be able to attack directly.
- This card's first effect is commonly used as a last resort to destroy all opposing cards. Cards like "Frozen Rose" or "Book of Moon" can ensure this effect will resolve even if this card is targeted by a card that would negate its activation, such as "Effect Veiler" and "Fiendish Chain".
- This card's first effect can mitigate the drawback to summoning "Chimeratech Overdragon", and even allow you to OTK with that monster.
- This card can be Synchro Summoned during the opponent's turn by using a card that performs a Synchro Summon like "Garden Rose Flora".
- In a dedicated Dragon Deck, the effect of "Return of the Dragon Lords" or "Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon" can be used to protect Dragon-Type monsters from being destroyed by this card's effect.
- If one of the protected Dragons is "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon", "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", or even "Red Nova Dragon", this can easily set up a One Turn Kill.
- "Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon" can be used to protect all cards on your side of the field, therefore destroying only your opponent's cards.
- If "Clear Effector" is used as a Synchro Material, not only this card will not be destroyed by its own effect, you also draw a card.
Traditional Format[]
- If "Dandylion" is used as a Synchro Material and the first effect of this card is used, some cards, such as most "Yang Zing" monsters, will miss their activation timing since the last thing to happen is the summon of the Tokens at Chain Link 1, whereas the destruction effect occurs at Chain Link 2.
- After using this card's Nuke effect, either Special Summon the Dragon Rulers with their effects(Or from your Banished Zone with "Dimension Fusion"), and attack your opponent with them for an OTK.
- As an alternative, you can heavily damage your opponent with them, and then use "Arrivalrivals" to Tribute Summon "Victory Dragon" with them, and attack directly with it, fulfilling its victory condition.
- In fact, you can use the effect of "Elder Entity Norden" to summon a Level 3 Dragon Tuner, and Synchro Summon this card with them, still enabling you to Normal Summon "Victory Dragon".
- As an alternative, you can heavily damage your opponent with them, and then use "Arrivalrivals" to Tribute Summon "Victory Dragon" with them, and attack directly with it, fulfilling its victory condition.
