How can "If you equip your "Fairy Meteor Crush" to an opponent's monster, and it attacks a Defense Position monster on your side of the field with ATK greater than your monster's DEF, the opponent will take the difference as Battle Damage. This is because "your opponent" is the opponent of the player who controls "Fairy Meteor Crush" not necessarily the opponent of the player who controls the monster." be correct? The card clearly states "When your monster equipped with this card..." so if it is equipped to your opponents monster wouldnt the effect simply not work? Or at least your opponent wouldn't take damage from attacking you...

  • Because, the piercing damage effect does occur, but it's YOUR Equip card, still on your side of the field, and it says that "Your opponent" takes the damage, regardless of whose monster is attacking what with it. Speedball 12:22, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
