OCG Rulings[]
Mentions in Other Rulings[]
- Stardust Dragon: You can use "Stardust Dragon"'s effect against this card, since its effect will destroy monsters if the result is heads, and will destroy monsters if the result is tails (there is no situation where the effect will not destroy monsters).[1]
- Starlight Road: "Starlight Road" cannot be Chained to the activation of effects like that of "Dark Master - Zorc" or "Time Wizard", since it is unknown whether or not the effect will destroy two cards on your side of the field.[2]
Judge Program Forum Rulings[]
These Ruling(s) have not been confirmed as applicable to the TCG.[Notes 1] |
- Prime Material Dragon/Musakani Magatama: You can activate "Musakani Magatama" or "Prime Material Dragon" to negate the effect of "Time Wizard" as "Time Wizard" is guaranteed to destroy a card.[3]
Previously Official Rulings[]
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been deemed unofficial by Konami.[4] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - The effect of "Time Wizard" is an Ignition Effect, and therefore can only be activated during your Main Phase 1 or 2.
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Barrel Behind the Door: You cannot activate "Barrel Behind the Door" against effects if you don't know for certain that they will inflict damage when the effect is activated. So you cannot activate it against..."Time Wizard"...
- My Body as a Shield: You cannot use "My Body as a Shield" against cards whose effects might or might not destroy a monster right away, such as..."Time Wizard".
- Prime Material Dragon: You cannot use "Prime Material Dragon's" effect against cards whose effects may or may not destroy a monster right away, such as... "Time Wizard"...
Notes[]
- ↑ Konami Judge Program Rulings are considered unverified, as their source(s) are not publicly viewable. They are not confirmed as applicable to the TCG until they have been officially published by Konami.
