OCG Rulings[]
- "Sebek's Blessing" is activated during the Damage Step of the Battle Phase. "Imperial Order" cannot be activated during the Damage Step, so you cannot Chain "Imperial Order" to "Sebek's Blessing". "Magic Jammer", "Magic Drain", and "Solemn Judgment" can be activated during the Damage Step, so you can Chain these cards to "Sebek's Blessing".[1]
- During the Damage Step, you can activate "Sebek's Blessing", "Attack and Receive", "Numinous Healer", "Time Machine", "Michizure", Counter Trap Cards, and Trap/Quick-Play Spell Cards that increase/decrease ATK/DEF.[2]
- "Sebek's Blessing" can be activated when you successfully attack directly. This is when you inflict Battle Damage both when attacking when your opponent controls no monsters, and when attacking directly by the effect of "Leghul"/"Jinzo #7"/etc.[3]
- When your monster battles with an opponent's monster with less ATK and inflicts Battle Damage, this is not a direct attack, so "Sebek's Blessing" cannot be activated.[3]
- When your opponent's monster attacks your monster with higher DEF than his monster's ATK and your opponent takes Battle Damage, this is not a direct attack, so "Sebek's Blessing" cannot be activated.[3]
- When "Relinquished" inflicts damage, this is not a direct attack, so "Sebek's Blessing" cannot be activated.[3]
