OCG Rulings[]
- If multiple cards are sent to the Graveyard by a single effect, "Realm of Light" only gains 1 Shine Counter.[1]
Previously Official Rulings[]
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been deemed unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - Adding or removing Shine Counters does not start a Chain.
- You cannot remove Shine Counters when your opponent activates a Field Spell Card, because "Realm of Light" is not being destroyed by a card effect.[Out of Date 1]
Notes[]
Out of Date[]
- ↑ According to the new game mechanics for Field Spell Cards, now both players can have an active Field Spell Card on their field at the same time, so the other player's Field Spell Card will not be destroyed if their opponent plays one.
