OCG Rulings[]
- When "Non-Fusion Area" has been activated, the Spell Card "Polymerization" cannot be activated.[1]
- You can activate "Future Fusion" while the effect of "Non-Fusion Area" applies on the field. However if "Non-Fusion Area"'s effect is applied during the second Standby Phase after "Future Fusion"'s activation, you cannot Special Summon the Fusion Monster.
- Furthermore, after "Future Fusion" has been activated and before the second Standby Phase the effect of "Non-Fusion Area" has stopped applying, it is possible to Special Summon the Fusion Monster during the second Standby Phase.[2]
- The Special Summons of "Ritual Beast Ulti-Apelio" or "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon" are not Fusion Summons; therefore, they can be Special Summoned while "Non-Fusion Area" is applying.[3]

- You cannot activate “Power Bond”, “Miracle Fusion”, “Dragon's Mirror”, etc. when this card is active because they are treated as Fusion Summons. You can activate “Fusion Gate”, but you cannot activate its effect.
- You can still Special Summon a Fusion Monster with a card effect like “Metamorphosis” or “Cyber-Stein”.
