TCG Rulings[]
- This card's effect starts a Chain at the end of the Damage Step after the monster is sent to the Graveyard.[1]
- You cannot flip this card face-up during the Damage Step.[1]
OCG Rulings[]
- The activation of only the card "Howl of the Wild" can be performed at any time, except during the Damage Step.[2]
- The effect "When a monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each face-up Beast-Type monster you control" makes a Chain Link. (It does not target.)[2]
- The card "Howl of the Wild" and its effect cannot be activated during the same Chain Link.[2]
- While "Howl of the Wild" is face-up in the Spell & Trap Zone, at the end of a Damage Step in which a monster in the player's Monster Zone destroyed an opponent's monster by battle and sent it to the Graveyard, the effect "inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each face-up Beast-Type monster you control" is activated.[2]
