OCG Rulings[]

  • "Revoke Fusion" cannot Special Summon a Fusion Monster unless it is specifically named on the Fusion Monster. For example, you cannot send "Five-Headed Dragon" to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Dragon-Type monster.[1]

Judge List Rulings

  • "Five-Headed Dragon" protects itself from being destroyed in battle against monsters with the specified Attributes, but it does nothing to protect the Life Points of the player controlling it or their opponent. Battle Damage is still inflicted to players.[4]
  • When Fusion Summoning "Five-Headed Dragon", Fusion Material substitute monsters like "King of the Swamp" cannot be used as a Fusion Material unless the Fusion Material substitute monster is face-up on the field and its type is being changed to Dragon-Type by a card like "DNA Surgery".[6]
