  • The Spanish "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon" calls "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" "Dragón Definitivo de Ojos Azules", yet when "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was released in Spanish in the Gold Series it was called "Dragón de Ojos Azules Definitivo".
  • In the American Spanish dub, "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was called "Gran Dragón de Ojos Azules", meaning "Blue-Eyes Great Dragon".
  • In the German dub of the anime, this card's name is "Blauäugiger Ultradrache" ("Blue-Eyed Ultra Dragon"). It's official German TCG name is a translation of it's English one.
  • The French "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon" calls "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" "Dragon Blanc aux Yeux Bleus Ultime", yet when "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was released in French in the Gold Series it was called "Dragon Ultime aux Yeux Bleus".
  • In the Swedish dub of the anime, this card's name wasn't changed from its English. Directly translated it would be "Blåa-ögon Ultimata Drake".
  • In the Brazillian dub, "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" was called "Dragão Supremo de Olhos Azuis", meaning "Blue-Eyes Supreme Dragon".
  • In the Arabic anime dub, this card was called by several names, including:
    • تنّين القمّة أزرق العينين = Blue-Eyed Top Dragon
    • تنّين الذروة أزرق العينين = Blue-Eyed Pinnacle Dragon
    • تنّين بلو أيز الكبير = "Blue-Eyes'Grand Dragon
    • التنّين الخارق أزرق العينين = Blue-Eyed Super Dragon
