- The international version of this card has the horn removed from "Goblin Calligrapher", the ears edited, and the tongue shortened, to avoid any religious connotations. Also, the Japanese characters which mean "Nonsense" are changed to the English word "False".
- In the international anime, the words are removed from the paper/papyrus completely, but "Goblin Calligrapher" retains its Japanese artwork characteristics.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark duel Stories, Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist, this card was drawn with a different artwork.
