- In episode 83, this card appears in a flashback explained by Bruno. Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, and Crow Hogan were doing tag riding training for the WRGP. This card was in Jack's hand during his practice Turbo Duel against a hologram Turbo Duelist, but he didn't play it. Crow found out that this card was in Jack's hand and Jack didn't play it like he was told to. Crow and Yusei scolded Jack for not using this card even though it was in his hand as it could help him in his Duels. Jack claims that this card does not fit his battling style and after an argument with Yusei, Crow, and Bruno, Jack leaves without another word. Later Jack draws this card during his Turbo Duel against the Fake Jack Atlas, but he still felt that this card didn't fit his battling style. As such, he chose to play "Dread Dragon" instead and went for an offensive strategy. This proved to be a fatal mistake for Jack as this allowed the Fake Jack to defeat him easily with his own offensive strategy. After Fake Jack escapes from Yusei and Crow, this card is shown wedged into some rocks below the bridge where Jack crashed into the water.
- In episode 84, Crow finds this card when he and Yusei were trying to find Jack. Thinking Jack fell into the ocean, Crow blames all the things that he said to Jack for all the events that happened recently. Later Yusei, Kaz and Carly Carmine confront the Fake Jack, but at this point, the real Jack arrives to defeat the Fake Jack. Yusei then tosses this card to Jack. Jack states he will gladly use this card after the mistake he made last time. He then puts this card into his Deck before challenging the Fake Jack to a rematch. Jack uses this card during his Turbo Duel against the Fake Jack. After he Normal Summons this card, he tunes "Vice Dragon" with this card in order to Synchro Summon "Red Dragon Archfiend". Since this card was used for the Synchro Summon of "Red Dragon Archfiend", the latter is granted the ability to avoid being destroyed by reducing its ATK by 400 at the end of the Damage Step or after an effect that destroys monsters is resolved.
- In this episode, this card's effect could be used multiple times in the same turn, and Jack used this effect many times during the duel to protect his "Red Dragon Archfiend" from being destroyed.
- In episode 131, Jack uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Lester. After Jack Normal Summons this card, he Special Summons "Red Nova" via its own effect as he had "Red Dragon Archfiend" on his side of the field. Jack then double tunes "Red Dragon Archfiend" with "Red Nova" and this card in order to Synchro Summon "Red Nova Dragon".
