The Deleted[]

  • In episode 31, Varis uses this card during his Speed Duel against Ghost Gal. He Link Summons this card by linking "Background Dragon" with "Defrag Dragon" and Link-2 "Twin Triangle Dragon". This card then attacks Ghost Gal's "Altergeist Marionetter"; Ghost Gal negates the attack by summoning "Altergeist Kunquery" from her hand. "Kunquery's" effect then negates this card's effect. On Ghost Gal's next turn, she Normal Summons "Altergeist Silquitous" and uses its effect to return this card to the Extra Deck.
  • In episode 39, Varis uses this card during his Master Duel against The Gore. He Link Summons this card by linking "Triggering Wurm" with Link-3 "Triple Burst Dragon". After using "Triggering Wurm's" effect to revive itself onto a zone that this card points to, Varis activates this card's effect to destroy all cards in the Main Monster Zones, but not before Gore uses "Gouki Twistcobra's" effect to power up his "Gouki Thunder Ogre". Varis activates "Link Protection" to allow this card to attack "Thunder Ogre" without being destroyed or causing battle damage to Varis; at the end of the Damage Step, "Thunder Ogre" is destroyed by "Link Protection's" effect. This card's other effect to inflict damage also activates because it attacked a Link Monster; Gore responds by discarding "Gouki Octostretch" from his hand to halve the damage. On Gore's next turn, he Link Summons "Gouki Heel Ogre" to the zone ahead of this card, thus forming a co-link. Because "Heel Ogre" points to this card, its effect negates this card's effect that would have destroyed it, and destroys this card. Varis responds with the other effect of "Link Protection", banishing itself and this card to prevent Gore from attacking unless he controls a number of monsters equal to this card's Link Rating (4).
  • In episode 44, Varis uses this card during his second Master Duel against Playmaker. He Link Summons this card by linking "Sniffer Dragon" with Link-3 "Triple Burst Dragon". After reviving "Metalrokket Dragon" onto a zone this card points to, this card's effect activates, but does not destroy Playmaker's "Restoration Point Guard" due to the latter's effect; only "Metalrokket" is destroyed. This card then attacks "Point Guard" without destroying it; the former's other effect activates to inflict damage on Playmaker equal to "Point Guard's" ATK (which is 1000). On Playmaker's next turn, he activates his face-down "Shield Handler" to negate this card's effect that would have destroyed "Excode Talker" which this card was pointing to. Then, his "Transcode Talker" attacks this card; Varis activates his face-down "Link Turret" to prevent this card's destruction. On Varis' next turn, he uses "Borreload Dragon's" effect to take control of "Transcode", placing it in the zone behind this card to form a co-link, which makes this card gain 500 ATK by "Transcode's" effect. This card attacks and destroys "Excode". In the following episode, Varis uses "Miniborrel Dragon's" in-Graveyard effect to tribute "Transcode", thus making this card's ATK return to 3000. In the episode after, this card attacks and destroys one of the "Congester Tokens" summoned by Playmaker's "Cluster Congester". Eventually, this card forms part of a closed-loop Extra Link, having occupied the Extra Monster Zone on the left (from Playmaker's sight) since it was summoned.

Ai's Rebellion[]

  • In episode 109, Pandor uses this card during her Master Duel against Ai. She Link Summons this card by linking "Topologina Bambee" with Link-3 "Topologic Trisbaena". She summons another "Bambee" to a zone this card points to, in order to activate its effect to destroy all cards in the Main Monster Zones. Ai's "Fire Phoenix @Ignister" is destroyed, triggering its effect to destroy this card, but Pandor banishes her face-up "Topologina Honeycomb Beehicle" in order to prevent this card's destruction. It then attacks and destroys Ai's "Dark Templar @Ignister", activating its other effect to inflict damage equal to "Dark Templar's" ATK; Ai survives after discarding "Donyoribo @Ignister" from his hand to negate battle damage. During Ai's next Standby Phase, using "Fire Phoenix's" other effect, "Fire Phoenix" is revived to a zone this card points to, forcing this card's first effect, and in turn forcing "Fire Phoenix's" effect which destroys this card.
