Card Appearances:The Claw of Hermos

• This was one of the three Legendary Dragons that protected Atlantis, and the Dominion of the Beasts. Joey Wheeler was chosen to release Hermos from his 10,000 year long slumber when he was on the verge of losing against his rematch with Mai. It was the final dragon released.

• Joey drew this card after releasing Hermos within his above-mentioned vision. Joey first revived his "The Fiend Megacyber" with "Monster Reborn". Joey then summoned out "Time Wizard". Finally he summoned this card out, Joey then merged this card with "Time Wizard" to create "Time Magic Hammer".

• After all three chosen Duelists (Yami Yugi, Kaiba, and Joey) came together in Industrial Illusions, they each showed their respective Legendary Dragons. All three cards then begin to glow since the chosen Duelists have now united. They then hold their respective cards up into the air. The glow soon disappears and the three Duelists then lower down their cards before Kaiba and Mokuba leave.

• Joey later used this card in his second duel with Rex Raptor. Joey then merged this card with "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" to create "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword".

• After Yugi defeated an Orichalcos soldier with "The Eye of Timaeus", this card glows within Joey's Deck. Joey takes this card out of his Deck and notices that it is glowing. He then wonders to himself if something happened to Yugi since this card is glowing as if it's notifying him of something.

• After Kaiba defeated Alister, he tries to stop the plane from crashing, but it is no use. All three Legendary Dragons then came out of their owner's Decks as actual monsters. They then gathered around the plane and brought it down to the ground safely.

• Joey used this card in his duel with Valon. Joey then merges this card with "Rocket Warrior" to create "Rocket Hermos Cannon". Later Joey summons this card back to the field with "Take One Chance". He then merges this card with "Big Bang Blow" (which he snatched from Valon's Graveyard with "Graverobber") to create "Big Bang Dragon Blow".

• Joey next used this card in his third duel with Mai. Joey then merged this card with "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" to create "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword".

• After Mai Valentine regretfully defeated Joey, this card fell out of Joey's hands. Mai, realizing that what she did was wrong, takes this card with her (probably as a way to have Joey with her while she attempted to save him by stopping Dartz) before traveling to Paradius HQ to defeat Dartz.

• When she lost to Rafael, she fell to the ground while holding Hermos and apologizing to Joey. After she fell and her soul was taken, a Harpie feather landed on the Hermos card.

• Hermos was given to Yami by Rafael after he defeated Mai. Yami Yugi used it in his rematch duel against Rafael. Yami Yugi then merged this card with "Queen's Knight" (who was revived through the effect of "Underworld Circle") to create "Goddess Bow".

• It was later used by Yami Yugi in his duel with Seto Kaiba against Dartz. After Kaiba was defeated, Yami had to face Dartz alone. Yami Yugi nearly gave up on winning until he drew "Legend of Heart". He then used Legend of Heart to banish this card, The Eye of Timaeus and The Fang of Critias and summon "Timaeus", "Critias", and "Hermos" in their original/true forms: Legendary Knight Hermos, "Legendary Knight Timaeus" and "Legendary Knight Critias". When Hermos combined with Timaeus and Critias, Yami was able to use this form to defeat Dartz.

• After Dartz and The Great Leviathan were defeated Hermos returned to his home with his friends.
