* Ojin first used this card in his duel against Sartorius. It is Normal Summoned with no Tributes thanks to "[[Cost Down]]". He then activates "[[Charge]]" to increase this card's ATK to 2000 until the End Phase. He then activates "[[Mischief of the Time Goddess]]" to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn. He then activates "[[Limiter Removal]]" to double this card's ATK until the End Phase. This card then attacks Sartorius directly, but Sartorius discards "[[Arcana Force XIV - Temperance]]" to negate the Battle Damage. Ojin then summoned "[[Satellite Base]]", however this allows Sartorius to activate the effect of "[[Intervention of Fate]]", discarding the latter card to activate "[[Ace of Sword]]" from his hand. The latter card lands upright, so this card is destroyed and its ATK is inflicted to Ojin as damage, winning Sartorius the duel.

* Ojin later uses this card in his duel against Jaden Yuki. He discards this card to activate "[[Trap Booster]]". He then uses "[[Call of the Haunted]]" to bring it back. He then uses "[[Inferno Reckless Summon]]" to summon two more copies. He then uses "[[Charge]]" to give all the copies 2000 ATK until the End Phase. Ojin then has one copy destroy "[[Elemental HERO Sparkman]]". ANother copy then attacks Jaden directly. The third copy then attacks, but Jaden uses "[[Hero Spirit]]" to negate the attack. The copies' ATK then went back to 0. All copies gained 1000 ATK on the End Phase. Jaden then attacks one of the copies with "[[Elemental HERO Flame Wingman]]", but the copy's effect prevented its destruction since "Flame Wingman"'s Level wasn't high enough for it to destroy this card. Ojin then took Battle Damage from the attack. Ojin then uses "[[Union Attack]]" to give one copy the ATK of the other two copies at the cost of preventing other monsters from attacking and Jaden taking no damage from the attack. That copy then destroys "Flame Wingman". That copy's ATK then went back to 0. On the End Phase, the copy that attacked had its ATK increased to 1000 while the two copies that didn't attack had their ATK increased to 2000. Jaden then destroys the weakest copy with "[[Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman]]". Ojin then uses "[[Debris Station]]" to send the other two copies to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon "[[Satellite Laser Balsam]]".

Video Game

  • "Satellite Cannon" first appeared as a Video Game Only card in Dark Duel Stories. It was featured as a level 5, Normal, Thunder Attribute, Machine-Type Monster with 2000 ATK and 1500 DEF.

Yu-Gi-Oh!

  • "Satellite Cannon" is used by Leichter of The Big Five in Yu-Gi-Oh!. The card art is different to that of the TCG version. Also, the rules regarding its effect were different in this version. It could not be targeted by an attack by Monsters that were Level 7 or lower (while the real card simply could not be destroyed by them) and it was considered to have zero ATK at all times except during the controller's Battle Phase. Leichter summoned this card by sacrificing his set "Fire Princess". It then gained 1000 ATK at Leichter's End Phase. The next turn, Leichter had this card destroy Kaiba's set "The Wicked Worm Beast", resulting in this card's ATK becoming 0 again, but gained 1000 ATK once Leichter ended his turn. The turn after that, Leichter had this card attack and destroy Kaiba's "Twin-Headed Behemoth" and because of this card's effect it isn't destroyed along with "Twin-Headed Behemoth". This card's ATK was then reduced back to 0, but return backed to 1000 at Leichter's End Phase. When Kaiba attacked Leichter's set monster with "Possessed Dark Soul", it is revealed to be "Dreamsprite", Leichter then used "Dreamsprite"'s effect to redirect the "Possessed Dark Soul"'s attack to this card, resulting in the attack doing nothing to this card due to its effect. Once Leichter ended the second to last turn of the duel, this card's ATK was increased to 2000. Once Kaiba got out "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", he had it attack and destroy this card whose ATK is treated as 0 during the opponent's turn. Because of that Leichter lost the remainder of his Life Points and Kaiba won the duel.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX

  • It is also the signature card of Prince Ojin in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. In this version of the anime, the rules regarding its effect were the correct ones.
  • Ojin first used this card in his duel against Sartorius. It is Normal Summoned with no Tributes thanks to "Cost Down". He then activates "Charge" to increase this card's ATK to 2000 until the End Phase. He then activates "Mischief of the Time Goddess" to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn. He then activates "Limiter Removal" to double this card's ATK until the End Phase. This card then attacks Sartorius directly, but Sartorius discards "Arcana Force XIV - Temperance" to negate the Battle Damage. Ojin then summoned "Satellite Base", however this allows Sartorius to activate the effect of "Intervention of Fate", discarding the latter card to activate "Ace of Sword" from his hand. The latter card lands upright, so this card is destroyed and its ATK is inflicted to Ojin as damage, winning Sartorius the duel.
  • Ojin later uses this card in his duel against Jaden Yuki. He discards this card to activate "Trap Booster". He then uses "Call of the Haunted" to bring it back. He then uses "Inferno Reckless Summon" to summon two more copies. He then uses "Charge" to give all the copies 2000 ATK until the End Phase. Ojin then has one copy destroy "Elemental HERO Sparkman". ANother copy then attacks Jaden directly. The third copy then attacks, but Jaden uses "Hero Spirit" to negate the attack. The copies' ATK then went back to 0. All copies gained 1000 ATK on the End Phase. Jaden then attacks one of the copies with "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", but the copy's effect prevented its destruction since "Flame Wingman"'s Level wasn't high enough for it to destroy this card. Ojin then took Battle Damage from the attack. Ojin then uses "Union Attack" to give one copy the ATK of the other two copies at the cost of preventing other monsters from attacking and Jaden taking no damage from the attack. That copy then destroys "Flame Wingman". That copy's ATK then went back to 0. On the End Phase, the copy that attacked had its ATK increased to 1000 while the two copies that didn't attack had their ATK increased to 2000. Jaden then destroys the weakest copy with "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman". Ojin then uses "Debris Station" to send the other two copies to the Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Satellite Laser Balsam".
