Anime

  • In episode 69, Dr. Faker uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo, Shark, and "Kite Tenjo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying three copies of "Garbage Lord". Later "Number 39: Utopia" attacks this card, but Faker activates this card's third effect to have it gain ATK equal to the current ATK of "Utopia" by equipping it with "Garbage Ogre" from his Graveyard. Yuma then activates the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack. Yuma then activates "Double or Nothing" to double the ATK of "Utopia" and let it attack again. "Utopia" attacks this card again, but Faker activates this card's fifth effect to send "Garbage Ogre" to the Graveyard and prevent his monster's destruction. Faker then activates this card's sixth effect to inflict damage to his opponent equal to half the difference in the previous and current ATK of this card and activates this card's seventh effect to gain Life Points equal to the damage he inflicted by detaching a "Garbage Lord". Later Shark uses "Utopia" to attack "Heart-eartH", but Faker activates this card's third effect to have it gain ATK equal to the current ATK of "Utopia" by equipping it with "Garbage Ogre". Shark activates the effect of "Shield Fin" to reduce the ATK of "Utopia" to 0 and prevent its destruction by battle. "Number 32: Shark Drake" then attacks this card, but Faker activates this card's fifth effect to send "Garbage Ogre" to the Graveyard and prevent its destruction. Faker activates this card's eighth effect to inflict damage to his opponents equal to half the damage he took by detaching a "Garbage Lord". Later Kite uses "Utopia" to attack this card, but Faker activates this card's third effect by equipping itself with "Garbage Ogre". Kite activates the effect of "Shield Fin" to reduce the ATK of "Utopia" to 0 and prevent its destruction. "Shark Drake" then attacks this card, but Faker activates this card's fifth effect to send "Garbage Ogre" to the Graveyard and prevent its destruction. Faker activates this card's eighth effect to inflict damage to his opponents equal to half the damage he took by detaching a "Garbage Lord", but Kite activates "Photon Prevent" to take no damage from this card's eighth effect. "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" then attacks this card, but Faker activates this card's last effect to Xyz Summon "Number 92: Heart-eartH" by using only this card for the Xyz Summon.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Kite has when he realizes the problem with this card's effect as it gains ATK equal to that of the monster that attacks it and even if Dr. Faker takes damage, this card will make Yuma, Shark, Kite take half of the damage they inflict to Dr. Faker.
  • In episode 70, this card appears in flashback Dr. Faker has when he explains why "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon" was summoned after this card was attacked and how he was able to avoid losing when "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" attacked this card.
  • This card's effect name is Fake Burn in the Japanese version and Infernal Surge in the dub.
