In episode 13, Kite Tenjo uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying three "Daybreakers" Kite then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and send "Lightserpent" from his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. Kite then activates the effect of "Lightserpent" to revive itself. In the next episode, Kite activates this card's effect again, detaching another Overlay Unit and sending a card in his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. After "Number 20: Giga-Brilliant" (whose ATK was 2100 through its own effect) attacks Yuma's "Gogogo Golem" and fails to destroy it due to its effect, this card attacks and destroys "Gogogo Golem". Kite then Tributes this card and "Giga-Brilliant" in order to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".

In episode 25, this card appears in a flashback Astral has when he reminds Yuma that they both know that Kite can control the "Numbers" at will unlike other cases they have seen.

In episode 37, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Astral has when he notes the "Numbers" are pieces of his memories and he wonders what he really is.

In episode 64, Vetrix absorbs this card along with every "Number" Kite had in his possession after he defeats Kite.

In episode 65, Vetrix uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Heraldic Beast Aberconway" and "Heraldic Beast Twin-Headed Eagle" via "Sphere Field". Vetrix then activates this card's effect to detach "Heraldic Beast Aberconway" and send one card in his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. After "Heraldic King Genom-Heritage" attacks "Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja" (whose ATK was 0 due to the effect of "Heraldic King Genom-Heritage") and Yuma activates "Half Guard" to prevent his monster's destruction and switch it to Defense Position after the attack, this card then attacks "Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja", but Yuma activates the effect of "Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja" to prevent its destruction. In the next episode, "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon" (whose ATK was 2500 via its own effect) attacks and destroys this card. Later Vetrix activates the effect of both "Heraldic Beast Unicorns" to banish both copies from his Graveyard and revive this card and "Heraldic King Genom-Heritage". After Vetrix revives "Heraldic Beast Berners Falcon" via "Heraldry Reborn", he activates the effect of "Heraldic Beast Berners Falcon" to change this card and "Heraldic King Genom-Heritage" to Level 4 monsters. He then overlays this card, "Heraldic King Genom-Heritage", and "Heraldic Beast Berners Falcon" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 69: Heraldry Crest".

In episode 67, Dr. Faker uses a Sphere Field to absorb this card along with every "Number" Yuma and Vetrix had in their possession after Yuma defeats Vetrix.

In episodes 68 and 69, this card is amongst the "Numbers" floating in the Sphere Field.

At some point between episode 73 and episode 74, Astral absorbs this card along with every "Number" that Dr. Faker had in his possession.

In episode 82, this card is amongst the "Numbers" shown with Astral in the Emperor's Key when Astral observes the "Numbers" he and Yuma currently have and which "Numbers" they still need to find.

In episode 112, this card is shown in Yuma's explanation to Mr. Heartland when he explains that to him and Astral the Numbers represent what they everything fighting for.

In episode 146, this card appears in the montage of "Numbers" in the Summoning sequence of "Number 99: Utopic Dragon".

In Rank 8, Kaito Tenjo plays this card against Yuma Tsukumo. He overlays three "Daybreakers" to Xyz Summon it. He uses its effect to detach an Overlay Unit and send the "Lightserpent" in his hand to the Graveyard, drawing a card. He uses its effect again on his next turn., detaching another Overlay Unit and a sending a card in his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. It then destroys Yuma's "Gogogo Golem" and is Tributed alongside "Number 20: Giga-Brilliant" to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
In Rank 53, during his duel against Yuma, Astral uses this card as Xyz Material from his Extra Deck for the Xyz Summon of "Number 93: Utopia Kaiser" via "Numbers Evaille".
