This is the first card played by the series protagonist, Yusaku Fujiki, under his virtual reality alias Playmaker.

In episode 1, Playmaker uses this card during a duel against a Knight of Hanoi. It attacks and destroys the Knight's "Hack Worm".
In episode 4, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against The Gore. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. It attacks and destroys The Gore's "Gouki Suprex", inflicting piercing damage due to "Cyberse Wizard's" effect. On The Gore's next turn, the effect of his "Gouki the Great Ogre" weakens this card's ATK by a value equal to its DEF. In the following episode, Playmaker links "Bitron" with this card to Link Summon "Link Bumper".
In episode 10, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Varis. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. He then links this card with "Backup Secretary" and "Stack Reviver" to Link Summon "Encode Talker".
In episode 11, this card appears in a flashback.
In episode 13, this card appears in Cal Kolter's footage of Playmaker inside LINK VRAINS.
In episode 16, during Playmaker's Speed Duel against a Prototype Ai, the Ai uses the effect of "Tentacluster Drillworm" to discard this card from Playmaker's hand. On Playmaker's next turn in the following episode, Playmaker banishes this card and "Dotscaper" from his Graveyard to revive "Dual Assembwurm" with its ATK halved.

In episode 28, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against Faust. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. Playmaker then links this card with "Backup Secretary" to Link Summon "Space Insulator".
In episode 43, Playmaker uses this card during his second Master Duel against Varis. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. He then uses this card's effect, discarding "Latency" to destroy two of Varis' Set Spell and Trap Cards, one of which is "Mirror Force Launcher". While it is still his turn, Playmaker links this card with the Link-2 "Restoration Point Guard" to Link Summon "Excode Talker".

In episode 62, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against Kenmochi. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. Playmaker then links this card with "Storm Cipher" to Link Summon "Pentestag".
In episode 67, during his Master Duel against Earth, Playmaker sends this card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard as part of "Cyberse Clock Dragon's" ATK-gaining effect.

In episode 81, Playmaker uses this card during his second Speed Duel against The Gore. He Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. In the following episode, Playmaker links the Link-2 "Security Dragon" with this card and "Cross Debug" to Link Summon "Firewall Dragon".

In episode 120, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Ai. He draws this card using the effect of "Drastic Draw", then Special Summons this card from his hand while he controls no monsters. Playmaker then links this card with "Cyberse Wizard", "Backup Secretary" and "Firewall Dragon Darkfluid" to Link Summon "Accesscode Talker".
