In episode 79, Rio Kastle uses this card during her Duel against Lotus Hanazoe while the latter was possessed by the Barians. She Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Blizzard Falcon" and "Aurora Wing". This card then gains 400 ATK via the second effect of "Zen Garden" since this card was Rank 4. Rio then activates this card's effect to negate the effects of all other face-up cards and reduce the ATK of "Chaos Xyz Battleship Cherry Blossom" by 900 (300 for each card that had its effects negated) by detaching one Overlay Unit. As "Zen Garden" was negated, this card and "Battleship Cherry Blossom" lost the ATK boost they got from "Zen Garden". Lotus then activates "Flower Judgment" to detach the Overlay Units of "Battleship Cherry Blossom" and increase its ATK by 1600 (800 for each Overlay Unit detached). Rio, in response, activates "Freezing Point" to reduce the ATK of "Battleship Cherry Blossom" to 0. This card then attacks and destroys "Battleship Cherry Blossom", winning Rio the Duel.

In episode 80, this card appears in a series of flashbacks within a Barian Crystal that Dumon witnesses when he sees the various people Girag brainwashed lose against Yuma Tsukumo and his friends.

In episode 85, Rio uses this card during the Battle Royal between Yuma, Shark, and Rio against the brainwashed students controlled by Girag. She uses this card to attack a brainwashed student directly, defeating him in the process.

In episode 91, Rio uses this card during her duel against Shark. She Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Guard Penguin" and "Blizzard Falcon". Rio then activates this card's effect to negate the effects of all other face-up cards and reduce the ATK of Shark's "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" by 600 (300 for each card that lost its effects) by detaching one Overlay Unit. After Rio believed that Shark's set cards will activate when she attacks, she equips this card with "Wings of Silence", increasing its ATK by 300 and granting it immunity to the effects of Shark's Spell and Trap Cards. This card then attacks and destroys "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Shark then activates "Ghost Salvage" to revive "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark", "Big Jaws", and "Shark Stickers". Later "Black Ray Lancer" (whose ATK was 4000 due to it being equipped with "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" via "Full Armored Xyz") attacks and destroys this card. Shark then activates the second effect of "Break Stream" to destroy Rio's set "Ice Fire Egg". Rio then activates the effect of "Ice Fire Egg" to revive this card with its ATK and DEF 0 and with a Level equal to its Rank plus one. After Rio activates "Land of Frozen Flames" (which allows both players to treat a WATER as two monsters for an Xyz Summon), she overlays this card with itself in order to Xyz Summon "Ice Princess Zereort".

In episode 95, Rio summons this card to stop the Duel Monsters that Vector sent to attack the Different Dimension Airship.

In the anime, this card's effect lowers the ATK of an opposing monster, a perfect opposite of its OCG/TCG effect.

In episode 36, this card can be seen in Yuto's flashback as he explained to Yuya Sakaki about the Invasion of the Xyz Dimension. In the next episode, it appeared in the same flashback.
