Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V

Heartland City

  • In episode 102, Kite uses this card in his Duel against Yuya. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying two "Cipher Wings". Later Yuya attacks this card with "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", with the help of "Performapal Drummerilla" to raise the ATK of "Odd-Eyes" by 600 - From 2500 to 3100. Kite then uses "Double Exposure" and "Double Sensorship" to negate the attack; using the former to change "Drummerilla's" name to "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". The next turn, Kite use this card's effect to take control of Yuya's "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", negating its effect, changing its ATK to 3000 and have its name became "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".The next turn, Yuya attacks this card with "Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon", and use the effect of "Dragoncaller Magician", which was used as a Material to Summon it. It doubles the ATK of "Odd-Eyes Rebellion" as it battles a Dragon-Type monster. Kite activate his "Double Cipher" by using all remaining Xyz Material of this card to Special Summon another copy of this card from his Extra Deck. A replay occurs, so Yuya continue the attack on this card, Kite use the effect of "Cipher Interference" to double the ATK of this card as he controls "Cipher" monsters with the same name, resulting in a double KO.
  • In episode 103, this card appears in a flashback to the previous episode's duel.
  • In episode 105, Kite plays this card in a duel against three Duel Academy soldiers. After an unspecified number of turns, Kite has already used this card's effect twice, taking control of two of his opponents' monsters and treating them as "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" with their ATK at 3000 each and their effects negated. Using those monsters and this card, Kite attacks his opponents' three "Ancient Gear Soldiers" and wins the duel.
    • Later on in the same episode, Kite plays this card in an Action Duel against Shay Obsidian. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying one "Cipher Twin Raptor" (treated as two monsters by its own effect, also treated as Level 8 through the effect of "Cipher Wing"). He detaches an Overlay Unit from this card and attempts to take control of Shay's "Raidraptor - Rise Falcon", but the effect of "Raptor's Intercept Formation", which Shay activated on his previous turn, negates one effect per turn that targets a "Raidraptor". This card then attacks "Rise Falcon", but Shay uses "Intercept Formation's" other effect to switch "Rise Falcon's" ATK and DEF, then finds and activates the Action Card "Miracle" to prevent his "Rise Falcon" from being destroyed, and also halve battle damage he takes.
    • On Shay's next turn, his "Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon's" effect destroys this card; Kite activates "Cipher Spectrum" to revive this card and Special Summon a second copy from his Extra Deck, ignoring Summoning conditions.
    • On Kite's next turn, one copy of this card attacks "Blaze Falcon"; Shay activates his face-down "Overlay Armor" to prevent "Blaze Falcon" from being destroyed by an attack this turn, at the cost of detaching one of its Overlay Units. The other copy then attacks "Blaze Falcon", with Shay still applying "Overlay Armor's" effect.
    • On Shay's next turn, "Blaze Falcon" attacks a copy of this card; Shay finds and activates Action Cards in an attempt to power "Blaze Falcon's" ATK beyond this card's, but cannot activate "Take Flight" on his turn. Therefore "Blaze Falcon" is destroyed. Shay ranks up "Blaze Falcon" to "Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon", and also activates "Ultimate Full Burst" to allow it to attack all monsters Kite controls. Shay also has "Ultimate Falcon's" existing effect lower the ATK of both copies of this card to 2000. "Ultimate Falcon" attacks and destroys one copy of this card; Kite responds by discarding "Cipher Mirror Knight" to send one card he controls to the Graveyard and revive the destroyed monster; he sends his face-down "Cipher Clone Magic", which allows Kite to apply the effect of a Continuous Spell Card in his deck by sending it to his Graveyard; he chooses "Cipher Interference". Because "Ultimate Full Burst" forces Shay to attack, his "Ultimate Falcon" attacks a copy of this card with "Cipher Interference's" effect being applied to it; Shay takes damage and loses the duel.
  • In episode 109, Kite plays this card in a duel against three Obelisk Force soldiers. On the turn he joins the duel, Kite Xyz Summons this card by overlaying two "Cipher Wings". He uses this card's effect to take control of the green-gem member's "Chaos Ancient Gear Giant", then, through "Cipher Interference" and "Cipher Diffusion", this card's ATK is doubled and it can attack three times. It attacks all three Obelisk Force soldiers directly, winning Kite the duel.
  • In episode 110, Kite plays this card in a duel against an unspecified number of Duel Academy soldiers. He summons two copies of this card (off-screen) and uses their effects to take control of three of his opponents' monsters; the five "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragons" (three fake and two real) then attack all of the soldiers' remaining monsters and defeat the soldiers all at once.
  • In episode 114, Kite plays this card in his duel against Dennis McField. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying one "Cipher Twin Raptor" (treated as two monsters by its own effect, also treated as Level 8 through the effect of "Cipher Wing"). He uses this card's effect to take control of Dennis' "Performage Trapeze Magician". This card then attacks Dennis directly, but in response, Dennis summons his "Performage String Figure" from his hand, which blocks the attack due to its effect. "Trapeze Magician" returns to Dennis' control at the start of his next turn; at that point, Kite activates "Cipher Deterrent", preventing this card from being destroyed by battle. Through the effects of "Trapeze Magician" and "Performage Trapeze Witch", this card is attacked four times, with "Trapeze Witch" lowering this card's ATK by 600 at the start of each attack. This card's ATK thus becomes 600 after the fourth attack, doubling to 1200 through the other effect of "Cipher Deterrent". On Kite's next turn, he activates "Rank-Up-Magic Cipher Ascension", ranking this card up to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".
  • In episode 116, Kite plays this card in his duel against Diana. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying two "Cipher Wings". At that point, Diana activates her face-down "Admiration of the Keepers", negating this card's effect and Special Summoning two "Keeper Shield Tokens". This card can, and does, attack all tokens via "Admiration of the Keepers'" effect; after each token is destroyed, the effect of Diana's "Penumbral Keeper" decreases this card's ATK by 800 and lets Diana gain the same amount of Life Points. After all tokens are destroyed, Kite responds by activating "Rank-Up-Magic Cipher Pursuit" to rank this card up to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon". Kite detaches one of "Neo Cipher Dragon's" Overlay Units (this card) to take control of "Penumbral Keeper" and treat its name as "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon"; he then activates "Galaxy-Eyes Nova", tributing "Penumbral Keeper" to revive this card. Both "Cipher Dragons" attack Diana directly, winning Kite the duel.

Duel Academy

  • In episode 130, Kite plays this card against Yuri and Yugo (after he and Aster Phoenix intruded Yuri and Yugo's duel). On the turn he joins the duel, he Xyz Summons this card by overlaying one "Cipher Twin Raptor" (treated as two monsters by its own effect, also treated as Level 8 through the effect of "Cipher Wing"). This card attacks Yugo's "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", with Kite also activating "Attack Reversal" to swap "Clear Wing's" 4000 ATK (at the time) with this card's 3000 ATK. Yugo sends his face-up "Burning Sonic" to the Graveyard to negate "Attack Reversal"; thus, Kite plays "Rank-Up-Magic Cipher Shock" to end the Battle Phase and rank this card up to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".
  • In episode 137, Kite plays this card during the Lancers' duel against Z-ARC. On the turn he joins the duel, he Xyz Summons this card by overlaying two "Cipher Wings". He detaches an Overlay Unit to use this card's effect, but "Supreme King Z-ARC" makes Z-ARC's monsters unaffected by effects of the opponents' Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Monsters. On Z-ARC's turn, his "Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion" attacks this card, using its own effect to drain all of this card's ATK before damage calculation. After Shay uses a "Rank-Up-Magic" card, Kite activates "Rank-Up-Magic Limitover Force", paying half of his Life Points to rank up this card before damage calculation, to "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".
  • In episode 139, during the aforementioned duel, this card appears in front of "Supreme King Z-ARC" when its namesake explains that it can't be destroyed while an opponent's Fusion, Synchro or Xyz monsters are in the Graveyard or banished. In the following episode, this card reappears, being counted as one of the Xyz Monsters in the Graveyard or banished in order for "En Birds" to take effect.
