Since this card is Level 5, its ATK and DEF become 2000 due to its effect. "Fortune Lady Earth" then attacks directly. This card then attacks directly, but Jack activates the effect of "Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow" to Special Summon it from his hand. The ATK and DEF of "Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow" then become equal to the Battle Damage Jack took from the direct attack made by "Fortune Lady Earth". Due to the last effect of "Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow", this card is forced to attack it. "Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow" then destroys this card.
