Yu-Gi-Oh![]

  • In episode 139, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He drew this card via Yami Marik's "Zombie's Jewel". Yami Yugi then sets this card. "The Winged Dragon of Ra" while merged with Yami Marik attacks Yami Yugi directly, but Yami Yugi activates this card to Special Summon a Metal Fiend Token and use to intercept the attack. The battle between "The Winged Dragon of Ra" and the Metal Fiend Token will result in the Battle Damage that Yami Yugi would take be inflicted to Yami Marik instead, but Yami Marik activates "De-Fusion" to decrease the ATK of "The Winged Dragon of Ra" to 0, increase his Life Points by the same amount, and separate the two which also stops the attack Yami Marik made and saves himself. On his Standby Phase, Yami Yugi pays 1000 Life Points to keep the Metal Fiend Token on the field. Yami Yugi then activates "Multiply" to create two more copies of the Metal Fiend Token. He then Tributes the three Metal Fiend Tokens in order to Tribute Summon "Obelisk the Tormentor".
    • In the same episode, this card also appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers Kaiba throwing this card to him before the Duel. Both Yami Yugi and Yugi Muto know that this card is the one they must draw via "Zombie's Jewel".

  • Yako Tenma used this card against Yami Yugi in combination with "THE DEVIL'S AVATAR", which caused the latter to transform into a black version of Little Yugi.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[]

  • In episode 39, Chazz Princeton uses this card during his Duel against Don Zaloog. He uses this card to Special Summon a "Metal Fiend Token". Chazz then Tributes the Metal Fiend Token in order to Tribute Summon "Armed Dragon LV5".
  • In episode 98, the D uses this card during his Duel against Aster Phoenix. He uses this card to Special Summon a "Metal Fiend Token". The D then Tributes the Metal Fiend Token and two "Plasma Tokens" (summoned due to "Claret Note") in order to Special Summon "Destiny HERO - Plasma".
