Season 1[]

  • In episode 22, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa. After Jaden summons this card, Bastion activates "Spirit Barrier" to nullify all Battle Damage that he takes while he controls a monster. Jaden then points out that Traps don't affect this card. Due to the effect of "Litmus Doom Swordsman", its ATK became 3000. Jaden then equips this card with "Cyclone Boomerang", increasing its ATK by 500. Jaden then uses this card to attack "Litmus Doom Swordsman". "Litmus Doom Swordsman" then destroys this card, but this activates the effect of "Cyclone Boomerang", destroying all Spells and Traps on the field and inflicting 500 damage to Bastion for each one. Because of this, "Spirit Barrier" is destroyed and Bastion's Life Points dropped to 0, winning Jaden the Duel.
  • In episode 23, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Belowski. He summons this card in Attack Position. This card then attacks and destroys "Haniwa". Later "Mokey Mokey King" attacks this card. This card then destroys "Mokey Mokey King", but this activates the latter's effect, allowing Belowski to revive his three "Mokey Mokey". "Happy Lover" then attacks this card. This card then destroys "Happy Lover", but this activates the effect of "Mokey Mokey Smackdown", making the ATK of all face-up "Mokey Mokey" 3000 for this trun. Belowski then uses a "Mokey Mokey" to attack and destroy this card.
  • In episode 26, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Chazz Princeton. After Jaden summons this card, he uses this card to attack directly. On Jaden's next turn, this card attacks and destroys "Armed Dragon LV3". Chazz then activates "The Grave of Enkindling" to allow both players to Special Summon a monster from their Graveyard. Chazz Special Summons "Armed Dragon LV5" while Jaden Special Summons "Hero Kid". The effect of "Hero Kid" then activates, allowing Jaden to Special Summon two more "Hero Kids" from his Deck. Later "Armed Dragon LV7" attacks and destroys this card. The effect of "Armed Changer" then activates, allowing Chazz to add "Masked Dragon" from his Deck to his hand.
  • In episode 34, Jaden is shown using this card during a dream duel against a Shadow Duelist. This card then attacks the shadowy monster that the Shadow Duelist had out, but then the shadowy creature turns itself into a shadowy dragon. The dragon then destroys this card, defeating Jaden. The nightmare then shows the shadows dragging Jaden down into oblivion and Syrus and Chumley being enveloped in flames before Jaden is woken up by his friends.
  • In episode 37, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Tania. After this card is summoned, Jaden uses this card to attack "Amazoness Swords Woman". Both battling monsters were then destroyed in a Double KO. Jaden then pays 100 Life Points to activate the effect of "Amazoness Arena", inflicting 100 damage to Tania and winning himself the Duel.
  • In episode 51, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Zane Truesdale. After Jaden summons this card, he activates "Wild Half" to halve the ATK and DEF of "Cyber End Dragon" and summon a "Half Token" with the same stats and effects as "Cyber End Dragon". Jaden then equips this card with "Cyclone Boomerang", increasing its ATK by 500. This card then attacks "Cyber End Dragon", but Zane activates "De-Fusion" to return "Cyber End Dragon" to his Extra Deck and revive his three "Cyber Dragons". A replay then occurs and Jaden uses this card to attack the "Half Token", causing both monsters to be destroyed in a Double KO. This activates the effect of "Cyclone Boomerang", allowing Jaden to destroy "Different Dimension Capsule" and inflict 500 damage to Zane. Later Jaden activates "The Warrior Returning Alivew" to add this card from his Graveyard to his hand. Jaden then activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Bladedge" in order to Fusion Summon "Wildedge". In the next episode, this card is shown when Jaden was counting up the Elemental HERO monsters in his Graveyard for the effect of "Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman".

Season 2[]

  • In episode 55, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Tyranno Hassleberry. He summons this card on the first turn of the duel. "Dark Driceratops" then attacks and destroys this card. "Dark Driceratops" then inflicts Piercing Damage to Jaden. Jaden then activates "Monster Reincarnation" to add this card from his Graveyard to his hand. On Jaden's next turn, he summons this card in Attack Position. After "Bladedge" attacks "Archeonys" and Hassleberry activates "Amber Pitfall" to negate the attack and switch "Bladedge" to Defense Position, this card attacks "Archeonys", but the effect of "Jurassic World" switches "Archeonys" to Defense Position. As a result of this, the attack fails. Later Hassleberry activates "Earthquake" to switch this card to Defense Position. On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Avian" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Wild Wingman". After "Bladedge" attacks directly, Jaden activates "De-Fusion" to return "Wild Wingman" to the Extra Deck and revive this card and "Avian". This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
  • In episode 58, this card can be seen when Jaden is shown shuffling his Deck in the Ra Yellow Dorm.
  • In episode 64, this card appears in a flashback Hassleberry has when Syrus reminds him that the tactic he just used was the same he used against Jaden.
  • In episode 66, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he sees Wheeler as Bastion which makes Jaden remember his Duel against Bastion.
  • In episode 67, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he was explaining to his friends what he was doing while he was trying to get back to Duel Academy. This card is shown in Jaden's thoughts when he notes "Winged Kuriboh" is the only card he has that is still blank.
  • In episode 74, during Jaden's Duel against Princess Rose, this card is shown when Jaden searches his Deck after he activates "Hero Signal".
  • In episode 78, Jaden uses this card during his Tag Duel with Aster against Sarina and a duplicate of the latter. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Necroshade" in order to Fusion Summon "Necroid Shaman". After Jaden Normal Summons "Bladedge" without Tributing via the effect of "Necroshade", Jaden activates "De-Fusion" to return "Necroid Shaman" to the Extra Deck and revive this card and "Necroshade". This card then attacks and destroys "Silver Spirit Sakyo". Sarina 2 could not activate "Mirror Bind" in response since this card is immune to Traps. "Full Moon Mirror" then gains one Full Moon Counter. In the next episode, "Dark Creator" and two "Dark Creator Tokens" attack "Bladedge", "Necroshade", and this card, but Aster activates "Elemental Recharge" to increase his and Jaden's Life Points by 3000 (1000 for each Elemental HERO they control). "Dark Creator" and the two "Dark Creator Tokens" then destroy "Bladedge", "Necroshade", and this card. The effects of "Dark Creator" and the two "Dark Creator Tokens" then activate, inflicting 2100 damage to Jaden and Aster (700 for each monster that "Dark Creator" and the two "Dark Creator Tokens" destroyed).
  • In episode 81, during Jaden's duel against Bob Banter, Jaden draws this card via the Flip Effect of "Quiz Panel - Ra 20" and reveals it to Bob. Since this card had less than fifty letters in its card text, Jaden succeeds in the prompted challenge from "Quiz Panel - Ra 20" and Bob takes 800 damage.
  • In episode 85, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Franz. He activates "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Necroshade" in order to Fusion Summon "Necroid Shaman".
  • In episode 86, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Orlando. He Special Summons this card via the effect of "Kabuki Stage - Big Bridge". Jaden attempted to summon this card in Defense Position via "Big Bridge", but it's summoned in Attack Position as the monster summoned via the effect of "Big Bridge" has to be in Attack Position. "Armed Samurai - Ben Kei" then attacks this card due to its own effect. Normally the attack would end in a Double KO, but Orlando destroys "Monk Halberd" via its own effect to prevent "Ben Kei" from being destroyed in battle, so only this card is destroyed. Since "Monk Halberd" was destroyed by its own effect, its final effect activates, inflicting 500 damage to Jaden.

Season 3[]

  • In episode 105, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he notes that even though he lost to Aster when the latter used his real Deck, it gave him the chance to see the Neo-Spacians who later became his friends.
  • In episode 109, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Axel Brodie. He summons this card in Attack Position. Jaden then explains that due to this card's effect, Axel can't use "Firewall" to stop this card from attacking. This card then attacks directly. Axel thought of using "Volcanic Force" to summon "Volcanic Doomfire" and use it to win the duel, but he chose to use an alternate strategy for his victory. Axel then activates "Wild Fire", to destroy "Tri-Blaze Acclerator" and this card and Special Summon a "Wild Fire Token". Jaden then activates "Elemental Mirage" to return this card to the field. This card then attacks and destroys the Wild Fire Token, winning Jaden the duel.
    • This card also appears in Axel's thoughts when he had the thought of using "Volcanic Force" to summon "Volcanic Doomfire" and use it to win the Duel.
  • In episode 119, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Thelonious Viper. He sends this card, "Avian", and "Necro Gardna" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Card Trooper". Later Jaden activates "Miracle Fusion" to banish this card and "Bladedge" from his Graveyard and Fusion Summon "Wildedge".
    • This card also appears in Jaden's thoughts when he looks at his Deck and notes to himself that people put their hopes in him.
  • In episode 146, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Guardian Baou. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Baou assumed Jaden was going to use this card to attack and destroy "Fiend Slime Mold" since it was immune to the effect of "Gravity Gain". He then reminded himself that the fortunate thing is that "Twinheaded Beast" still had more ATK than this card, so he can use "Twinheaded Beast" to attack and destroy this card and attack directly, which would win him the Duel. In the next episode, this card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
  • In episode 156, this card is shown in a flashback Hassleberry has when he remembers his first Duel against Jaden and notes to Alexis that what happened during her first Duel against Jaden was similar to what happened during his first Duel against Jaden.

Season 4[]

  • In episode 175, Jaden uses this card during his Triangle Duel against Jesse Anderson and Yusuke Fujiwara. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Later "Clear Phantom" attacks this card. This card then destroys "Clear Phantom", however this activates the effect of "Clear Phantom", destroying this card and forcing Jaden to discard the top three cards of his Deck to the Graveyard. In the next episode, Jaden activates "Fifth Hope" to return this card, "Avian", "Burstinatrix", "Bubbleman", and "Clayman" from his Graveyard to his Deck and draw two cards.

Notes[]

  • This card has an alternate art version. It is only seen briefly in episode 143 when The Supreme King used "Dark Fusion" to fuse this card with "Avian" and Fusion Summon "Evil HERO Wild Cyclone".
  • This card's regular attack name is Wild Slash in the dub. When equipped with "Cyclone Boomerang", this card's attack name is called Wild Boomerang in the original and Wild Walloping Boomerang in the dub.
