Volume 1
- In chapter 1, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his duel against Mr. Ryuga. He Normal Summons this card on the seventh turn. On Ryuga's next turn, his "Hyper Hammerhead" attacks this card, but Jaden uses "Hero Barrier" to negate the attack. On Ryuga's next turn, Jaden uses "Alternate Fusion" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
- In chapter 2, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Chazz Princeton. He Special Summons this card from his hand via "HERO's Bond". In the following chapter, Jaden uses "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
- In chapter 5, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Bastion Misawa. He Normal Summons this card, but it does not get to attack due to Bastion activating "Negate Attack" to end the Battle Phase. On Jaden's next turn, he switches this card to Defense Position. On Bastion's next turn, his "Rigorous Reaver" attacks and destroys this card. On Bastion's next turn (Turn 9 of the duel), Jaden activates his face-down "Soul Fusion", banishing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" from his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
- In chapter 6, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Alexis Rhodes. He activates "Polymerization", fusing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma". In the following chapter, Alexis activates "Cold Fusion" to destroy "Terra Firma" and revive this card as well as "Woodsman". This card then gains an Ice Counter from "Cold Fusion's" other effect and loses 500 ATK due to the effect of "Absolute Zero Barrier". On Alexis' next turn, she uses "Ice Master's" effect to send "Absolute Zero Barrier" to the Graveyard and destroy all monsters with Ice Counters, including this card.
Volume 2
- In chapter 13, Koyo Hibiki, the original owner of this card, uses it during his duel against Jaden which takes place in the past. He Special Summons this card from his deck via the effect of "Hero Signal". Koyo then has this card attack Jaden's "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman"; it gains 1000 ATK due to Jaden's "Skyscraper" while battling a monster with higher ATK, thus, "Flame Wingman" is destroyed. On Jaden's next turn, he activates "Swords of Revealing Light" to prevent Koyo from attacking for three turns. On Koyo's next turn, this card is switched to Defense Position. On Jaden's next turn, his "Elemental Hero Sparkman" attacks and destroys this card. On Jaden's subsequent next turn (Turn 12), Koyo activates "Residual Reflection", banishing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" from his Graveyard to take no damage this turn. In the following chapter, Koyo activates "Parallel World Fusion", returning this card and "Woodsman", which were banished, to his deck in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
