Volume 1

• In chapter 1, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his duel against Mr. Ryuga. He Normal Summons this card on the seventh turn. On Ryuga's next turn, his "Hyper Hammerhead" attacks this card, but Jaden uses "Hero Barrier" to negate the attack. On Ryuga's next turn (Turn 10), Jaden uses "Alternate Fusion" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
• In chapter 2, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Chazz Princeton. He Special Summons this card from his hand via "HERO's Bond". In the following chapter, Jaden uses "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma". However, Chazz then activates "Reverse-Time" to banish "Terra Firma" and revive "Woodsman" as well as this card, both in Attack Position. On Chazz's next turn, his "Dragonic Knight" destroys this card.
• In chapter 5, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Bastion Misawa. He Normal Summons this card, but it does not get to attack due to Bastion activating "Negate Attack" to end the Battle Phase. On Jaden's next turn, he switches this card to Defense Position. On Bastion's next turn, his "Rigorous Reaver" attacks and destroys this card. On Bastion's next turn (Turn 9 of the duel), Jaden activates his face-down "Soul Fusion", banishing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" from his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
• In chapter 6, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Alexis Rhodes. He activates "Polymerization", fusing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma". In the following chapter, Alexis activates "Cold Fusion" to destroy "Terra Firma" and revive this card as well as "Woodsman". This card then gains an Ice Counter from "Cold Fusion's" other effect and loses 500 ATK due to the effect of "Absolute Zero Barrier". On Alexis' next turn, she uses "Ice Master's" effect to send "Absolute Zero Barrier" to the Graveyard and destroy all monsters with Ice Counters, including this card.

Volume 2

• In chapter 13, Koyo Hibiki, the original owner of this card, uses it during his duel against Jaden which takes place in the past. He Special Summons this card from his deck via the effect of "Hero Signal". Koyo then has this card attack Jaden's "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman"; it gains 1000 ATK due to Jaden's "Skyscraper" while battling a monster with higher ATK, thus, "Flame Wingman" is destroyed. On Jaden's next turn, he activates "Swords of Revealing Light" to prevent Koyo from attacking for three turns. On Koyo's next turn, this card is switched to Defense Position. On Jaden's next turn, his "Elemental Hero Sparkman" attacks and destroys this card. On Jaden's subsequent next turn (Turn 12), Koyo activates "Residual Reflection", banishing this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" from his Graveyard to take no damage this turn. In the following chapter, Koyo activates "Parallel World Fusion", returning this card and "Woodsman", which were banished, to his deck in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".

Volumes 3-4

• In chapter 21, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Seika Kohinata. He Special Summons this card from his deck via the effect of "Hero Signal". Seika's "Evil Dragon Ananta" then attacks this card, but Jaden activates his face-down "Master Magician's Incantation", allowing him to activate "Polymerization" from his hand and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" using this card he controls, and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" in his hand, as Fusion Material.
• In chapter 27, Jaden uses this card during his rematch with Bastion. He adds this card from his deck to his hand using "Reinforcement of the Army". On Bastion's next turn, Jaden activates "Hero Signal" to Special Summon this card. On Jaden's next turn, this card attacks and destroys Bastion's "Onmoraki". On Bastion's next turn, his "Gozuki" attacks and destroys this card. In the following chapter, Jaden uses "Soul Return" to return this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" to the top of his deck, before using "Fusion Birth" to mill both cards. Because those cards were milled, Jaden is able to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" using "Fusion Birth's" other effect. Jaden then uses "Soul Release" to banish this card from his Graveyard.

Volumes 5-6

• In chapter 33, Jaden uses this card during his rematch with Chazz. He activates "Polymerization", fusing this card in his hand with "Elemental Hero Ice Edge" on his field to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero". On Chazz's next turn, Jaden activates "Residual Reflection", banishing this card and "Ice Edge" from his Graveyard in order to take no damage this turn. Jaden then activates "Parallel World Fusion", returning this card and "Elemental Hero Woodsman", which were banished, to his deck in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".
• In chapter 40, Jaden uses this card during his duel against Reggie MacKenzie. He Normal Summons this card, then activates "Miracle Fusion", banishing this card he controls, and "Elemental Hero Woodsman" in his Graveyard, to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma". Two chapters later, Jaden uses "Elemental Hero The Shining's" effect to return this card and "Woodsman" to his deck.

Volume 9

• In chapter 62, Jaden uses this card during his duel with Chazz Princeton against Tragoedia. He activates "Polymerization", fusing this card in his hand with "Elemental Hero Shadow Mist" on his field to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Escuridao". In the following chapter, Jaden activates "Miracle Fusion", banishing this card and "Elemental Hero Stratos" in his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Absolute Zero". Jaden then activates "Parallel World Fusion", returning this banished card and "Stratos" to his deck to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Great Tornado". In the following chapter, he draws this card via the effect of "Ma'at" and Special Summons it, before then activating "Polymerization", also through "Ma'at", to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Gaia". Jaden also draws "Miracle Fusion" via "Ma'at", and uses it to banish this card and "Woodsman" from his Graveyard in order to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma".

Other

• In Special One-Shot, Koyo uses this card during his duel against Jaden. After an unspecified number of turns, Koyo controls this card face-up. This card attacks Jaden's "Masked Hero Gust"; but Jaden activates his face-down "Mask Change", sending "Gust" to the Graveyard to Transformation Summon "Masked Hero Blast". Koyo decides not to replay the attack. During his Main Phase 2, Koyo uses "Polymerization" to fuse this card with "Elemental Hero Woodsman" and Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Terra Firma". On Koyo's next turn, he activates "Miracle Fusion", banishing this card and "Woodsman" from his Graveyard to Fusion Summon "Elemental Hero Gaia".

Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team ZEXAL

• In chapter 21, Fusion Mask uses this card during his duel against Kaito Tenjo. He adds this card from his Deck to his hand via the effect of "Elemental HERO Stratos". Fusion Mask then uses this card and "Elemental HERO Neos Alius" as Fusion Material for the Fusion Summon of "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero" via "Polymerization", before banishing this card and "Stratos" from his Graveyard via "Miracle Fusion" to Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Great Tornado".
