  • In episode 53, Greiger uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Crow Hogan. He Special Summons this card via "Contaminated Earth". Before this card is summoned, this monster absorbs the souls of the people from Greiger's village into itself. After "Blackwing - Fane the Steel Chain" attacks directly via its own effect. Crow activates the second effect of "Fane the Steel Chain" to switch this card to Defense Position and forbid Greiger from changing this card's Battle Position until the End Phase of Crow's next turn. On Greiger's next turn, he activates this card's effect to inflict damage to Crow equal to half of this card's DEF. After Crow Synchro Summons "Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant", Greiger claims that due to this card's effect, Crow is forbidden from conducting his Battle Phase, however Crow states that he will activate the effect of "Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant", which will destroy up to two monsters on Greiger's side of the field who have equal or less DEF than the ATK of "Silverwind the Ascendant", but Crow won't be allowed to attack this turn. Before Crow can use the effect of "Silverwind", he sees two children within this card. Greiger yells at him to make his move or he will go on with his turn. Yusei and Crow tell Greiger to look up at this monster. When he does so, Greiger is shocked that his siblings and people from his village are within this card. Greiger confirms the people inside this card are his siblings and children from his village and concludes that the Dark Signers are responsible for destroying his village not the Crimson Dragon. Greiger apologizes to Yusei for blaming him and Goodwin and tries to forfeit, but the Envoy of the Netherworld refuses to allow this and possesses Greiger, forcing Crow to end his turn. On the last turn of the Duel, Greiger switches this card to Attack Position. This card then attacks directly via its own effect, but Crow activates "Parasite Mind" to activate the effect of "Basara" as if he were the controller of "Basara", Tributing "Silverwind the Ascendant" to destroy this card and inflict 800 damage to Greiger, winning Crow the Duel. With the defeat of this card and Greiger, the souls of the children within this monster are released and revived.
  • When shown in the anime, the DEF of "Chacu Challhua" was 1600 instead of 2400.
  • In the anime, its attack is called Dark Dive Attack.
  • This card appears to represent Greiger as a whale is an animal that often has large families and travels in groups, which represents Greiger's bonds with his family and the children of his village. A killer whale's aggressive nature and its known status as a fierce hunter in the wild reflect Greiger's initial wish on killing Rex Goodwin for being responsible for destroying his village and killing all of the people from his village (which was not true as stated above).
