Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS

Hanoi

  • In episode 2, Playmaker obtains this card via Storm Access and uses it in his Speed Duel against a Knight of Hanoi. He Link Summons this card by linking "Cyberse Wizard" with "Stack Reviver", and "Backup Secretary". This card is unaffected by the Knight's "Pulse Mines" because Link Monsters cannot be changed to Defense Position. "Cyberse Wizard" is revived by "Stack Reviver's" effect and Special Summoned in the zone pointing bottom-left of this card. This card also points to the zone in front occupied by the Knight's "Cracking Dragon", therefore gains 1000 ATK through its own effect. Playmaker then has this card attack "Cracking Dragon" which is in Defense Position; "Cyberse Wizard's" effect allows this card to inflict piercing damage, enough to win the duel for Playmaker.
  • In episode 3, this card materializes outside of the LINK VRAINS realm. Cal Kolter passes this card to Yusaku Fujiki in the following episode.
  • In episode 5, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against The Gore. He Link Summons this card by linking Link-1 "Link Spider" with Link-2 "Honeybot". After "Honeybot" is revived, Playmaker equips this card with "Cyberse Annihilation" before having it attack The Gore's "Gouki the Great Ogre"; due to "Cyberse Annihilation" this card's ATK becomes that of "Great Ogre's". "Great Ogre" uses its effect to destroy a "Gouki" monster in place of itself. This card is link-pointed by "Honeybot", whose effect prevents its link-pointed monsters from being destroyed by battle. This card is also link-pointed by "Link Bumper", whose effect gives its link-pointed monsters an additional attack for each other Link Monster Playmaker controls, so this card gains two additional attacks. On the second additional attack, "Great Ogre" has no other "Gouki" monsters to destroy in place of itself, thus is destroyed, and "Cyberse Annihilation" removes the rest of The Gore's LP.
  • In episode 7, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against Blue Angel. He Link Summons this card by linking Link-1 "Link Spider" with Link-2 "Link Bumper". This card attacks Blue Angel's "Trickstar Holly Angel"; through a sequence of effects, "Holly Angel" gains 800 ATK before damage calculation. Playmaker uses "Security Block" to prevent this card's destruction, or either player taking battle damage, from this attack. Because a "Trickstar" monster battled this turn, Blue Angel activates "Trickstar Scatter" to destroy this card.
  • In episode 9, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against Varis. He Link Summons this card by linking Link-1 "Link Spider" with Link-2 "Honeybot". Playmaker then summons "Capacitor Stalker" to a zone this card points to, therefore this card gains 500 ATK through its own effect. Due to "Capacitor Stalker's" effect, this card gains another 800 ATK. This card attacks and destroys Varis' "Cracking Dragon". On Varis' next turn, this card loses its ATK gains after "Capacitor Stalker" leaves the field; subsequently, Varis' "Topologic Bomber Dragon" attacks and destroys this card. In the following episode, Playmaker uses "Link Restart" to revive this card. On Playmaker's next turn, this card is destroyed by the effect of "Bomber Dragon".
  • In episode 10, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Varis. He Link Summons this card by linking "Backup Secretary" with "Balancer Lord" and "Interrupt Resistor". Varis then activates "Fire Prison" to negate this card's effects and prevent it from attacking. In the following episode, Playmaker activates "Cynet Universe" to have this card gain 300 ATK, then he links this card with Link-3 "Encode Talker" to Link Summon the Link-4 "Firewall Dragon". On Varis' next turn, Playmaker activates "Recoded Alive", banishing this card from the Graveyard to Special Summon "Encode Talker" from his Extra Deck. On Playmaker's next turn in the episode after, he banishes "Recoded Alive" in order to Special Summon this banished card to the zone pointing to Varis' "Borreload Dragon" in front. Thus, this card gains 500 ATK through its own effect. It also gains 300 ATK from "Cynet Universe", and 700 ATK for each counter on "Battle Buffer" (two at the time), for a total of 4500 ATK. When this card attacks "Borreload", Varis uses the effect of "Magnarokket Dragon" to send this card to the Graveyard. Playmaker responds with the effect of "Parallel Port Armor" in his Graveyard, banishing itself, this card and "Encode Talker" to allow "Firewall Dragon" to attack twice.
  • In episode 13, this card appears in Cal Kolter's and Emma Bessho's footages of Playmaker.
  • In episode 18, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Akira Zaizen. He Link Summons this card by linking "Bitrooper" with "Cyberse Gadget" and "Stack Reviver". Playmaker uses the effect of "Cyberse Gadget" to summon a "Gadget Token" on the zone pointing bottom-right of this card. Then, he uses the effect of "Stack Reviver" to revive "Cyberse Gadget", summoning it to the zone pointing bottom-left of this card. Because it points to two monsters, this card gains 1000 ATK through its own effect. Akira's "Tindangle Hound" then reduces this card's ATK by 2000 (1000 for each monster this card points to). Playmaker links the two link-pointed monsters on this card to Link Summon "Flame Administrator" to the zone vacated by the "Gadget Token". "Flame Administrator's" effect boosts this card's ATK by 800 (for a total of 2600 ATK). This card proceeds to attack and destroy "Tindangle Hound", thus re-gaining another 1000 ATK afterwards. On Akira's next turn, this card's ATK returns to its original value of 2300 after "Tindangle Hound" attacks and destroys "Flame Administrator", meaning that no cards point to this one. In the following episode, after Playmaker summons "Firewall Dragon" to a zone this card points to, he activates "Link Hole" to destroy "Tindangle Hound" and boost this card's ATK to 2800. This card attacks Akira directly; after taking damage, Akira activates his face-down "Tindangle Delaunay" to destroy this card.

The Deleted

  • In episode 28, Playmaker uses this card during his Speed Duel against Faust. He Link Summons this card by linking Link-2 "Space Insulator" with "Link Infra-Flier". Playmaker Normal Summons "Cyberse Wizard" to a zone this card points to, thus, this card gains 500 ATK through its own effect. This card then attacks Faust's "Motor Worm Spreader Queen"; due to the effect of "Wormhole Defense", a "Motor Worm Token" that Faust controls is destroyed in "Spreader Queen's" place. On Faust's next turn, "Spreader Queen", at 4500 ATK, attacks and destroys this card. On Playmaker's next turn, he activates "Cybersal Cyclone", banishing this card from his Graveyard to destroy "Spreader Queen".
  • In episode 41, Playmaker uses this card during his second Speed Duel against Varis. He Link Summons this card by linking "Stack Reviver" with "Boot Staggered" and "Backup Secretary". "Backup Secretary" is revived by "Stack Reviver's" effect and Special Summoned in the zone pointing bottom-left of this card, therefore, this card gains 500 ATK through its own effect. On Playmaker's next turn, when this card attacks, Varis activates "Mirror Force" to destroy it. In the following episode, Playmaker revives this card using the effect of "Transcode Talker", summoning it to the zone behind "Transcode" and forming a co-link. This card gains 500 ATK from its own effect, another 500 ATK from "Transcode's" effect, and another 500 ATK from "Cynet Storm". This card then attacks and destroys Varis' "Flash Charge Dragon".
  • In episode 46, Playmaker uses this card during his second Master Duel against Varis. He Link Summons this card by linking "Transcode Talker", "Powercode Talker" and "Firewall Dragon". Because a monster that was targeted by "Zero Extra Link" was used as Link Material, the effect of "Zero Extra Link" transfers to this card. Also, because this card points to a monster in front, it gains 500 ATK, for a total of 9200 ATK. It attacks and destroys Varis' "Borreload Dragon" winning Playmaker the duel.

Ignis Warfare

  • In episode 92, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Cal Kolter. He Link Summons this card by linking Link-1 "Link Spider" with Link-2 "Protocol Gardna". On Kolter's turn, he summons "Codebreaker Virus Swordsman" and "Codebreaker Zero Day" to zones that this card points to; "Zero Day's" effect reverses the ATK gain of this card's effect, so this card loses 1000 ATK. "Virus Swordsman" attacks this card; it is not destroyed due to the effect of "Codebreak Backfire". After damage calculation, "Virus Swordsman's" other effect activates; Playmaker uses this card's effect to negate and destroy it by tributing "Zero Day" (which he controls), as a result, this card's ATK becomes 2300 again. At the end of the turn, "Virus Swordsman" and "Zero Day" are revived due to the former's third effect, and they are pointed to by this card, lowering its ATK to 1300. In the following episode, Playmaker activates "Link Satellite", putting three counters on it (equal to this card's Link Rating). On Kolter's next turn, he Link Summons "Codebreaker Virus Berserker" and uses its effect to Special Summon a second "Zero Day" to the last remaining zone this card points to, thus, this card's ATK becomes 800. When "Virus Berserker" attacks this card, Playmaker activates "Link Cancel" to return this card to the Extra Deck and revive its Link Materials.

Ai's Rebellion

  • In episode 117, Playmaker uses this card during his Master Duel against Ai. He Link Summons this card by linking "Sea Archiver" and the Link-2 "Splash Mage". When Ai's "Fire Phoenix @Ignister" attacks this card, Playmaker activates "Code Hack" to prevent either monster from being destroyed, or any battle damage being inflicted from the attack. Then, Ai's "Dark Templar @Ignister" attacks and destroys this card. Because of its effect, "Dark Templar" is not destroyed when it battles a monster with the same ATK. In the following episode, Playmaker revives this card using "Transcode Talker's" effect, then activates "Cynet Fusion" to Fusion Summon "Cyberse Clock Dragon" by fusing this card with "Clock Wyvern" and "Clock Spartoi". Two episodes later, this card is banished from the Graveyard for the effect of "Accesscode Talker". Then, Playmaker banishes "Recoded Alive" from his Graveyard to Special Summon this banished card. On Ai's next turn, "Dark Templar" attacks this card; Playmaker banishes "Code Hack" from his Graveyard to increase the ATK of this card by 700. "Dark Templar" is destroyed and Playmaker wins.
